Phenomenal work Vasily. This is going to be an absolute beast when it’s finished.
Death trap for sure lol
This has got to be my favourite build on YT right now! Loving it man, thanks for sharing
This guy is straight up doing a full on custom build right out of Forza Horizon IRL and even though i'm not super into this type of stuff normally, i'm hooked. I wanna see this thing tear down the track!
i like these headlights...it works with the futuristic look the designers were going for in the 70's
didn't even catch the photo shoped thumbnail until the end, love the content, love the build
Thank God I've been waiting for another video
Looks pretty good! I would suggest finding MUCH softer springs, or having them custom made. This thing will ride like a rock as it sits
You should extend the rear and add a small custom truck bed to make up the difference, damn good work brother, keep at it
Was thinking the same thing, would look pretty cool as a mini truck 👍
He did say he maybe wanted to keep the cheese block shape in the last video if I’m not mistaken
@odeo5691 yeah I saw that but figured with that short wheel base and the power it's gonna have it'll definitely be more stable with a longer wheel base, more functionality I guess is what I'm gettin at
@@blakebledsoe3773 true though he is putting in a roll cage for safety so it could go either way or both
@@odeo5691cage is cool and probably a good idea. Would be cooler to not flip it backwards like some over powered RC car though.
Just love the welding to Aluminium noise! It sounded like some bagpipes or a jazz trombone! you're welder was enjoying it so much! :)
I love the noise that welder makes!
sounds like a childrens music toy running out of battery lmao it cracks me up
That's the innovative farting feature some MIG welders have.
That's some serious engineering. Lots of tiny cars here in the Netherlands🇳🇱 They get mad respect, more than BMW and Mercedes tanks.
You should find rear shocks for street bikes (R1, R6) those will probably have closer to the correct spring rate.
No. Sports bikes have short stroke dampers and very high rate springs to deal with the insanely high leverage ratio that the rising rate monoshock linkages have. They are completely unsuitable for direct actuation in a double wishbone suspension, particularly in such a light vehicle.
@ferrumignis not to mention significantly more expensive
@@tassiejeeper01 They are very expensive new, though you can pick up OE used shocks for the more popular bikes reasonably cheap. They could be used on a car if remote mounted and operated by a suitable linkage, but that's a whole lot of extra complexity over a regular double wishbone design.
please teach me the magic you used to clamp onto a pipe. I love this, you're awesome.
Those wheels completely changed the look of the car, for the better.
Your gonna struggle to keep the front on the ground! Such a sweet build! I look forward to the next episode
I was thinking the same exact thing, like a weight ballast used on truck pulls.
Great work so far man, I'm excited to see it once it's fully finished! It would be cool if you showed it to the older gentleman who sold it to you, it would blow his mind!
Love love loving this build. Once you get the longer wheelbase built, you should turn the extra space back there into a hatchback storage area. All shielded from the engine, of course.
I was gonna comment the same thing. This thing is gonna be legit
a pickup would be cool too thou
If Wisconsin built a car for NASCAR, this is what is would look like! Love your creativity to match bend your front suspension wings! No silly cua\t three pieces and then weld them back together. Another stunner!
Dude this looks like the same thing you're always posting....
Excellent work, great imagination, lots of dedication and follow-through, and produced in a way that's fun to watch and never boring. I don't know Vasily personally, but I can't be the only person with a weird sense of being proud while watching him build and successfully complete his projects.
Dang bro that front end is legit 🙌
You are a helluva fabricator brother, I can't wait to see you sending this machine down the road.😎👍🇺🇸🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥
That front radiator is asking for a big smile on it!
This little cars going be wicked when it's finished
Your fabrication skills are getting so good!
I'm absolutely stoked for this build! 😮
The welder is screaming with excitement from making such a fun build.
A little bit of poke on the tires would actually help with stability (and look 10x better) square the rear to the front and throw some fender flares on it👌🏽
I love that you fabricate in inches. Superior engineering 😉
Fantastic job here! Love how you film everything so clearly and narrate interesting information in your voice-overs!
Your build is coming along great. Keep the progress going!!
Looking good! I like the progress. Looking forward to next video. As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇
Pretty good engineering 👍 All in all a very cool project 💯
Hopefully the next Hayabusa engine u want to install is the one on the mini jet boat boat with a turbo please mate. Love ya work mate and may the good lord bless u and your family🤞👍💪🏻😉🇦🇺
Cant wait to see a flying Dorito!!!
Absolutely in love with this build, you're work is just amazing.
They Actually Sold Citicars
at an auto repair shop where I grew up in MI. in the 70's!
They were SO ODD Looking Back Then, and are still
Pretty Odd Lookin' Today!
Another Cool Build
Vasily!!!
Love the Channel,
and Of Course,
The Builds!
☮️
Sick Project 👍 can't wait to see it running
It's looking fantastic... I can't wait to see how it ends up!
Love the musical stylings of that soldiering👏👏👏👏👏 😎😎😎😎😎
This thing is so cool and actually quite practical
Hell yea dude! This is a killer build, and very unique.
Nice build. I'd only suggest making tubes to insert/weld inside the square tubing where you have bolts/nuts to tighten down.
2:16 sweet welding goggles 👓
Coming along very well!! Awesome!
Cool stuff man, one of my favorites channels, fabulous work
Early days Grind Hard, I think some magic is lost once the struggle when all the gadgets amd tools are got.
Well done bro! Your welds have improved alot
Well I have to say you have out done yourself on this one looking so good 💯 I can't wait to see you finish it going to be lil monster!!!!!
Super great video as always. Would love to learn to Weld eventually
Wow that engine should really make that car move. So cool. Can't wait for the next video. Your an awesome fabricator Vasily.
Dude that looks so good
I love this build.
I’m so fascinated on how you
Take parts from a Miata and make them useable parts for your project
Loving the build, my only thing... and its down to personal taste. I would have it a complete sleeper, no sign of the beast inside... it would be a laugh watching you gap some of those show offs in big cars. I imagine this will be like the hyabusa powered bond bug they did in the UK... if you haven't watched it... I would. Its immense as it weighs nothing and screams power
Maybe once it’s done, you ought to paint it Blue and nickname it “Blue Cheese” since it’ll go like stink! :P
Well done brotha!! 😎👊
the rather b welding music. excelent build
Dude really installed front suspension quick though
This project is just fun, I can't wait to see this silver cheese wedge finished.
Amazing, super job mate. It looks excelent
u got some talent for this! awesome builds on this channel
Insane build bro 🔥 That radiator looks mighty exposed other than that I can't wait to see it rip 😁✌🏻
Absolutely incredible and your work is amazing this is my favourite project I’ve watched yet.
such a beautiful thing. never give up
Love it man. That is going to be a crazy ride when it's running lol.
This project is off the charts and so different, than anything else! How about making it a wide body? 💯 Grind Hard Plumbing and Rather B Welding better watch out! They're gonna have to do something crazy, to top this! Now I have to sit around and wait until, the next video comes out! I'm mad! 😜👍
I’m hooked on this build.
Nice. The Miata has to be the most cannibalized car in history when it comes to mod parts. lol
Incroyable ! Gros respect !
Dude this thing is just so sick, good work, cannot wait for it to be finished
Waited all week for this video drop 😊
Very cool. It's not how I would do it, which is why it's turning out so well.😉
I'm super excited to see what this looks like! I'm wondering if you planned on hybrid-izing or adding a super turbo system to it after you got it done and working :) anyways thanks for uploading
I can't wait for this to be completed
I love the welding sped up,😂 pretty great content
I thought you were extending the back wheels a bit, so it would be mid-rear engined? Probably going to do wheelies, and be squirrely, like this...
Oh that was just for the thumbnail I will be extending the wheel base
Excellent! Glad to hear it! It should handle great, rear-mid! Especially with a little bit of added width too. @@VasilyBuilds
Me as a little Frenchman I advise you to put silent blocks on the mounting of your engine because it will vibrate too much in the passenger compartment of the vehicle but otherwise can't wait to see this little racing car rolled
the busa is one of the few motorcycles that has a counterbalancer inside of it
@@VasilyBuilds To keep it chain drive....
Put the diff where the headers are, the outputs to a sprocket then the chain to sprocket that is on stubby shafts on the rear trailing arms on each side....
@@VasilyBuilds Front upper wishbones... try Locost versions they let the shock go though them...
Great job Brother you truly are an inspiration!! Keep up your amazing work!
This tiny car will be winning races one day.
That thing's going to be bad ass once you finish You put it in some work
Great work keep it up buddy 👍
11:11 - *Rather B Welding wants to know your location* 😂😂
bro those Hoosiers are sick!
Haven’t watched your videos in a while man you came a long way dude. Good job you’re definitely not lazy.🔥💪
Quality work it should be a fast car and a lot of fun .
Your aluminum welder sounds so "Saxaphonyish". 🎷🎶🎵🤣😂🎶
Cool build bro.. im following this😊
The best deaf trap ever lo😂🤣 going to be insane great work hopefully will end up 2 stroke powerrrrrrr
This was a great video 👍👍👍 already watched it thrice
What
@@kadenhickman5842 What
It's a word that means '3 times' in olde english. :)@@kadenhickman5842
Neat. Great work sir.
That car should be fun to drive and I doubt no else has on just like it.
Keep going in this welding fabricating direction you will probably have a few potential employers dying to have you on their team...KEEP DOING WHAT YA DOING MY MAN AND YOU WILL GO FAR
You should've kept the electric drive on it, and put that engine in it for the open-road, that would've been a real accomplishment.😉👍
Good Progress - i do however believe I know the Music from rather be welding’ channel😉
you better build a full roll cage in that tonka truck.
Great project! I'd like to see you make it work with the original wheelbase.. Perhaps use 2 chain drives and a slave axle with trailing arms reversed (leading arms?)
Trailing (or leading) arms for independent rear suspension on are not a great choice for RWD road cars tbh. Camber control is either non-existent (fully trailing) or very compromised (semi-trailing) which is ok for super long travel on off-road vehicles but car manufactures stopped using this system for good reason.
Vasily my man you have outdone your self this is amazing 😂❤🤌👍
man i just want to see it run already!
Very interesting build . love it.
Geat job, flipping amazing
Thats so badass, if i didnt need to haul anything that would be my daily driver.
