The cool cat in a hat is back! Thanks for this! Great analysis. I've heard it in many incarnations of structure discussion but you break everything down so well. It's hard to imagine America's sweetheart Sandra Bullock playing a part like this, but kudos to her for doing it. Red Rocket would be a good one to take apart as well because Mikey is just so damn charming and unlikeable at the same time. You're rooting for him, but the deeper you get into the film, the more it's like, dude, you're a creep. Mikey needs the Bambi vs Godzilla treatment. LOL. This guy is doomed to repeat the same mistakes over and over.
Scott, I just want an answer in YES or NO. Can a production company pay more than a Million Dollar to a screenwriter if his screenplay is a high concept and enough capable of being a blockbuster hit? Answer should be in Yes or No. Nothing else.
