You are not a sentient thing. Sentience is what you are. Aham Brahmasmi.

Exactly! The conclusion is "you", because who else?
But what are "you"? There are beliefs/ideas about who you are but it's "you" who knows it, so it can't encompass the definition of "you". So I ask again, what are "you"?

@@untangle-your-mind Thank you,. It was a rhetorical question but will revisit the pointer again.
In an 'experience' years ago, this understanding spontaneously arose, but it was not the conventional me/I that understood this - but never the less the understanding was undeniably and unquestionably there. In my daily experience the understanding that sentience itself is the basis is just a conceptual understanding, so it is not the real understanding.

@@ikraamsg I'm not referring to the conceptual understanding no matter how logical or refined. The understanding I'm referring to is of a different clarity altogether which leaves no room for doubt, that understanding is not understandable by ego entity.
