What is there to lose? Who/what is here to lose it? On my walk today, I was thinking about the pleasure of solitude, and how, when we're growing up, no one tells us how magical it can be. But then I was aware of my own ego, finding pleasure in an illusory separate self, when there's only one thing, everything. I don't really get this conundrum.

I find myself becoming wary when something has "love" in the title just because we need better, more precise words. This Rumi commentary was wonderful! "Lose yourself" can have several meanings also, such as losing track of time when in the state of flow or losing a sense of being a doer when you become one with the action, etc. Your wise words could refer to any of them, making the words much richer.

Universal Bliss At Last The Search Seems So Long Until That Dissolves Completely To See There Was No Journey. This Is Beyond Imaginable. Thank You, Thank Myself For This Joy.

Ive wondered why you often put in a hyphen. Aware-ness. I thought it would become clear but it hasn't. Then just now it popped into my head that when i first ever used to go quiet and inward i would hear the word 'timelessness', and it struck me as odd that i didn't just hear 'timeless'. Anyhow, that's perhaps irrelevant to my wondering why you sometimes wow l put the hyphen in.. I think there's another video where you have done that much more often, and it seemed to have a point.. I'm sorry this question isn't on the video that inspired it!

Nabeel! Another oh! I think what you are saying here is pointing to something that I was struggling to articulate yesterday. What you said about how acceptance is a description of how consciousness already is, and asked the question 'Who stands in opposition to this love?'. I was in discussion with some Buddhist people, and trying to articulate a feeling I had in response to what they were saying about attaining freedom. Like what they were trying to do was both impossible and missing the point. Like the perception was that it was necessary to abolish (and reject) all experience, and that love was the biggest trap. I still struggle to express this feeling, though I think you are doing so here. But I'll try and put it into my own words to see if you feel I'm hearing this correctly at all. I almost feel there's a mathematical equation to express this, but I can't find it! OK. It's like they were saying that to be free, and know peace, you must reject, deny, all experience. But.. the only place to experience freedom, surely, is in experience, without rejection. Otherwise, there is only freedom, no experience of it. It's like trying to cancel out the only place the concept/experience of freedom can even exist. Like, it's already at peace at home, and the only excursion away from home, so to speak, IS experience, and it madly thinks it must kill itself to experience peace. Is this clear at all? But then I heard this video again (I swear you've edited it and added new bits, bless) and realiised that I was still doing the same thing, on perhaps a sneakier level.. still rejecting experience, and particularly love, as crazy, flawed, blind in a judgemental way. Still trying to separate myself out. Evaluate, and alter, in relationship.

Where science and spirituality meet 🎯

This must be why we feel young "inside" when the body gets old. We are the same presence and awareness we were as infants, before our experiences were mediated by language, the mind...which is a labeling machine, and therefore a separation machine. How ironic that we stress reading to the young child, even in the womb! I love language and in particular poetry, but something is also lost...

Have been a lover of honey for years... as Nisargadatta used to say cultivate a mind of honey.. then it won't be susceptible to every jolt on the road like an old churn of water would be... there is a lovely poem I found at a good friend's house donkey's years ago now.. it is called 'Slow me down Lord'... I modified it to reflect the non dual teaching and committed it to memory. Committing things to memory takes an ownership of them so that over time they become one's own... decorating the inside of the head is important... interior 'de corp' ...there being no monopoly on wisdom. Nisargadatta used the terms 'affectionate detachment' and 'dispassionate aloofness' ... such poetic expressions... the words in themselves conjure up a unburdening of baggage a complete letting go... thank you once again for giving us such a new and enlightening insight into our shared essence... i.e. the love which we all are as Nisargadatta says... not one to go searching for ... just to be it... such a beautiful overwhelmingly feeling... every blessing to you for the gifts you grace us with.

Masterfully executed lesson. So succinct, coherent and beautifully articulated. This effulgent flow of wisdom shared so generously is codially appreciated. Inculcating the pure nature of our beingness as Awareness or Sentience as you prefer to term it. 'All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine'... Be it done unto this 'me' according to Thy word'... and how the similarity of the 'aum' sound to the sound of 'home' is strangely telling... ❤
