Great video. Really nice forest! This is just what i was looking for. I love structural pruning . I see some of my maple trunks start going a darker color is that ok cause the temperatures are dropping? Also some trunks have these small white lines on the trunk is that ok too? Thanks ! Uve been very informative .i appreciate it!
Thanks for watching! :) If you lightly scratch the trunk or branch and it's fresh and green/white inside, it should be fine. Small while lines might be an indicator of good age on the trunk. Hope this helps!
It definitely depends on the cultiver and growth habit of each tree but from my experience, trees with less developed branches tend to push many buds around the areas where multiple cut/uncut shoots stem from when they are heavily fertilized throughout the year.
this is a great video and i learned a lot. thank you
I really enjoyed your contain ,did you buy them or make them yourself? And how old is the forest?
Thank you! I got this forest from my friend. I think it's about 10-15 years but was neglected for some time so I have to rebuild it.
