- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

For everyone asking, I did not forget the trail camera. It did not function. I started off with about 50% battery and in these cold temperatures that's usually when it stops working. Always go with 100% or these cameras May shut off. Thanks for watching
Love camping and ur content don’t know where ur from have you ever heard of clear Creek State Park it’s in PA I went there with one of my friends in camped in one of the cabins u should camp there it’s fun the got a creek and a smal museum
why didn't you bring ghost with you
@eddie sanders that heater he uses has a co2 safety plus he shuts it off which I wouldn't personally this dude is super safe must been what you detected was his hangover from the 1 Mike's he drank LMAO keep it up Post
Thank you. You are a credit to yourself and your family.
I was scared for you when the camera ran and you sleeping. Brave young man. Keep up the great job.
I honestly believe what draws people here, is the fact He is very relatable; and one can tell he's an all around good dude. But when he says "we' , it makes it seem like he's talking just to you. This man has zero negativity in his comments(that I've seen) which is a rarity on this platform. Stay warm my friend. Thanks for putting in the work and grinding out actual genuine content
Post 10 is a national treasure that must be protected 😂
Well said! 😎

Watch carefully sometimes there is a “we” there. They just stay off camera . But yes, most of the time he is talking to you. I always feel like I’m on the adventure with him. Its like a better version of exploring when you were a kid except 😨that your mom has let you go a lot further from home😄.
I love that this channel doesn't pedal BS - no shitty sponsors or gimmicks, doesn't have any agenda or ego, is very down to earth and engages his viewers directly and is informative without being patronising. Most of all though is his obvious passion for the great outdoors, wildlife, nature, exploration and adventure. He makes it all very relatable to the average person. Kinda feels like a good friend whom I've never actually met.
You are literally unstoppable Post 10! It was so exciting to see you bringing in the supplies on the toboggan through the snow. I was like, MY DUDE is bringing his own legit toilet for his camp (of course, I was wrong). Thank you for taking us on this adventure :)

YES! A winter camping video! When I was decades younger and doing a lot of backpacking and camping, winter was my favorite season to do it in. NO worries about ticks, snakes, wildlife, and humans to worry about. You can regulate your body temp better too. Really loved the quiet and solitary time to enjoy this time of year of Mother Nature's AWESOMENESS!
So happy it went well with you. I ALWAYS let family and friends know my number one and two spots I'd be in (cell phones weren't invented yet). As with you, safety is important to me.
A word of advice, do it has much as you can in this stage of your life! Time passes so quickly and due to age and health problems, I can only do "glam-camping" by way of a RV or trailer. Trust me when I say it's NOT THE SAME!
I really cherish the memories of ALL my wonderful experiences in my life, but I especially remember the outdoor ones. But the last two I was able to fit in before I had to give it up were two occasions in the winter.
Live life to the FULLEST Post 10 viewers, it goes so fast and time to experience it is LOST FOREVER!
So Post 10, thanks for helping me keep my memories alive and how I wish I could have been there with you. Continue your videos, as I and others enjoy them so much.
Going potty is the only problem
Every camping video you make is considered fun and awesome. As well as unclogging drains, culverts, and exploring abandoned areas.
The exploration of abandoned places doesn't interest me, except when he stayed in the hotel. But I'm here for the rest. I love this channel. Thank you Post10 for all the great videos. Looking forward to a drain unclogging.
“Come on inside.” That’s why we love this channel and your videos. It’s the genuine feeling of inclusion.
Excellent series of videos: inside a culvert, in an abandoned motel, on a frozen river bed. I can't wait to see what's next! 👍👍👍
Great content!! Really love these camping/ staying overnight videos, feels even vicariously soo much fun!
This is the type of content youtube was originally meant for, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
The thumbnail for this video is GOLD!
You’re videos scare the crap out of me sometimes. But that’s just me being a city dweller, I trust you know what your doing.
Nice to see a better blanket (sleeping bad)!!!
So weird that I gravitated towards your content. I absolutely love it. Be safe out there!!!
Can’t stop checking this guy out, so easy to watch and being from Oz it’s actually really interesting, keep up the good work mate
brilliant video , i like the way post admits when he does something wrong like tipping his stuff out , he is my hero he does things that most of us only dream off , in wales where i live it rarely gets below about -5 centigrade and then only for a couple of days , we have a pond in our garden and it has only frozen twice in the last 4 years so it is fantastic to see so much ice , thanks post for the adventure ....
I know this is long after the posting here, but just in case you see it, you might want to consider getting a little fan for the dome of the tent. They come in USB rechargeable and you can probably get them anywhere (I have seen them in an ALDI catalogue here in Western Australia) and on eBay. You might not have to use quite so much propane for heating. Stay safe and keep on doing you. 💖
The little metric subtitles are really helpful. Thanks for that :)
i have been bingewatching your content till about 2 years back, you have a new fan Sir!.
If you look even further he used to do vids where he made an elecric fence for slugs and a lot of wild stuff like that. You still have some great content ahead lol
Cripes, I almost jumped out of my skin at the 31:54 mark! 😄 I really hope there will be some spring and summer camping out videos in the future! I think an ordinary day in the life of Post10 would make for great content as well. If you even have ordinary days, that is. 😁 Thanks once again for the quality content! 👍
I love the adventures you let us accompany you on! Thank you, Post!
Post, this is really awesome, thanks for taking us along, be careful and hope to see a summer time follow up video. Would be great to Eve what or how deep the River was at that time. Stay safe and healthy y’all, good luck !
I love when he poses for the thumbnail. It makes me laugh out loud. This guy is my favorite youtuber!
Oh Post! My bones ached watching this. But, alas, I remember when I was young and a friend and I went up on the Mogolian Rim in Arizona, to a lake known as Bear Lake. It was frozen solid. And I had my pup with me. We slept in the bag and she kept me warm. We had so much fun. And the sights were awesome.
Thanks for sharing! I love it!
I thought I watched all your camping videos. But there’s a few that slipped by me. I look forward to the new ones. I like the ones where you take your wood burning stove. I’ll grab another shirt. Take care.
Now I watched all your camping videos. Hope there will be more next winter.
Your camping videos are unlike anyone elses :D Love how they freshen up the channel a bit! not that I have anything against your culvert videos either, it's just cool to see you innovate weird stuff like this.
I love it when you show under the ice. Thanks for taking us on your adventure.
you are a total credit to everything you are a shining example of a fab human I love watching what you do and the content is so brilliant all the topics you cover just brilliant thanks for sharing xx debbie xxx
I used to camp a lot. I remember how thin the tent walls felt when I heard the coyotes howling outside. And I know how the mind can translate noises into voices and footsteps. My brain does that even when I'm not in a tent. 😜
I was tent camping in PA once when a tornado came through. That was an adventure! Thanks for another great video. 🙂
Tornadoes 🌪 can really do a job on the mind, especially at night as when I drove tractor trailers the scariest weather to drive in especially at night was when driving through anywhere that was getting a tornado warning or a tornado especially at night ! Post 10 is awesome and glad he is sharing some of his knowledge !! Also keep food away from where you sleep !!
@@jimrossi7708 That's where sirens are useful. But the idiots think everyone is connected with a smart phone.
Great job, Post 10. The outdoor camping, strange place camping, and
unclogging videos are fantastic!
Keep up the nice work!
Camping on a frozen river seems like a very dangerous thing to do, but when its you doing it, Post10, I feel quite sure you know what you are doing :)
I take it you have never been ice fishing?
@@UrbCrafter I have, but never on a river
He usually explains what the danger in a situation could be and why it is not that situation now. Like here, it would only be dangerous if it suddenly went thawing seriously. Since the modern weather forecast is reliable enough to rule out that event in the next day it was quite safe to be on the ice.
The most risk he takes is when walking on fresh areas without being 100% sure they would not be a weak spot under the snow. Like halfway in the video, he went through 1 hole with 1 leg, that could be a serious ankle injury. The risk is not cracking through the ice altogether, that would be almost impossible, but to injure a limb. But once you have been somewhere, you can safely walk there again.
Thank you my friend, for yet another upload!
I will enjoy!!!!
Love it ALL! The pitter-patter sound of time-lapse footprints is my favorite! 😊 Thanks again! 🖖👋
YESSSSS! Just in case the ice breaks. It is GOOD to have something THAT can float ( on top of ice, underneath you at all times ) an be tied off to a tree to pull yourself in. A slead made out of wood ( like they use for dog sledging ), with old skis is a good idea to pull your equipment ( leave on land empty ). Cause within ten minutes of cold weather in wet clothes, it can give you hypothermia.
While you are sleeping or just on the ice, at any moment the ice can break an you can fall in. Stay safe, alot of these tips I learned from the Boy Scouts. Fun times. 💙💚💛💜 Namasté.
P.S. I would definitely tie a rope to your waist, to a tree playing on ice. You can take one small step an fall in. This way the rope can be so you can pull yourself in. You can use some mountain climbing gear, to secure yourself. Stay safe. LOVE YOU!
P.P.S. You should really use the buddy system in your situations in the woods.
Here is a man who is comfortable in his own, well-adapted, skin. This is another reason we keep coming back to the Post 10 channel 🥶
Thanks for putting the metric conversions in the video Post 10, very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.
I love it when you upload just when i get home from work, so relaxing to watch.
Thank you so much for making this video! I felt like I went camping with you and it instantly brought me back to when I was a teenager, going camping with friends.
Hey Post great video!
Just a tip camping on ice. When you cant tent-stake into ice, try using a bag full of ice/snow or some rock(s) in place of staking. Works in the sand too, just fill the four canvas bags with sand and tie tent to that.
I've also used deadfall logs or rocks to secure the tent to the ground.
I use timber lock screws. They drive easy and work great as a tent stake in ice.
@@dougmilley2480 @MonkeyJedi99 also excellent ideas, thanks for sharing!
This. You need the rainfly to be taut or it won't shed water. Also, try to face the tent in such a way that the prevailing breeze is blowing onto the back rather than into the front. This helps to keep rain out and keep snow from drifting in front of the entrance where you end up tracking it inside.
On ice, use water.. it will freeze and stick that way 😊
Evening from uk my friend hope you are stay safe making this content for us to watch and thank you cos u never fail to amuse me👍👍 always pushing your skills and environment again thank you👍.
You are crazy Post 10!! We love it!! Please stay safe and healthy!! Thanks for making these videos.
Adventure time!! The thumbnail is awesome!! Have fun and always stay safe! I'm going camping myself today. Only it's 84°F here.
Looking back you really spoiled us with the winter camp videos last year.. slowly watching through all of them again. Fingers crossed you have some more camps planned this winter!
Also the trail camera & all the birds munchin is pretty relaxing & beautiful to watch aswell ❤
love of humor. Another great adventure💓 and many more Ty
When I watch your videos, I always think it would be nice if you had a pup for company, a happy doggy friend to keep each other warm and have adventures with.
I hope you didn't forget your trail camera. I'm sitting here in Tennessee and its 65 degrees outside and watching this video made me cold. You are a tiger when you haven't a culvert to clean, you brave the ice and show it who's boss. I'm surprised you didn't use some rocks or some snow pack instead of staking the tent poles. I'm thinking you'll do that next time. Great adventure Post. Thanks for sharing. ❄🏕
I love these videos
What a fantastic video Post, just riveting and a must view.
Thank you for posting this, it has made my morning again.
Kind regards from Scotland
Johnny
When I was a kid I'd camp out in an empty pond overlooking the river, about a mile away from the house. Every time I was out there, there'd always be at least two families of coyotes talking to each other all night. I loved listening to them and I don't remember ever being afraid.
My man's fearless, no question! Should we move closer to the bank?? Naw, let's go right next to the open hollow part, that'll do. Lol love it bro, these camping vids are my favorites by far. Keep them coming!
I like how you consider 80F (26C) in the tent to be almost unbearably hot. I live in the deep south and 70-80F (23C) is pleasant to me, including humidity. I can easily tolerate summer temperatures of 100F (40C). Tho unlike you, I have NO tolerance for cold! I'll get chilly if it's below 60F (15C) and getting below 40F (4C) is unbearably cold! I remember one winter, a few nights it got down to a record 15-20F (-8C) and even tho I was wrapped in my thickest blankets, socks, pajama pants, my biggest shirt AND my jacket, I couldn't stop shivering. Those were miserable nights. I love your cold weather camping challenges! First a culvert, then abandoned hotel, now a tent on a floating ice sheet. My favorite was definitely the culvert.
When I saw the American Standard box, I was laughing. I thought that you brought a toilet. Great video.
Steve Wallis vibes…love it! Hope you make more stealth camping videos like this! Really entertaining & awesome!!! 😎
I was watching Steve doing his stealth camping camping in a culvert. He referred back to this channel post10. Pretty cool.
@@IamDancingStar that’s pretty cool!
Very interesting. Thanks for bringing us along. I totally trust you.
You are stark staring bonkers. In the best possible way. Great sharing this adventure with you, virtually !!!!
Nothing like binge watching post10 while stuck inside during an ice storm the day before my birthday. Thanks for the awesome content!
Happy birthday 🎂 🥳
Mike's hard lemonade huh good stuff 👍
Great videos you've made lately. Watching from Scotland, cold, wet and windy.
New to your channel but got say I could watch your content for hours with your enthusiasm. Keep it up man 👍
I have the same exact tent, and it’s great!! I’m 6’ tall and I can stand straight up in it. And it’s big enough for two queen sized air mattresses as well. Great tent!!
I’m strangely addicted to these videos. I love all the good work you put in
Been loving these winter videos!! Impressive! It had to have been awesome to hear the water like you did. Surprising how warm your tent kept. Awesome stuff Postie.
If you haven't put a way your tent already, you may not have yet noticed there's a gusset in the bottom of the tent bag. There's a few strings holding it closed, but once they're broken the bag doubles in size so you can actually get the tent and fly back in. Those folks at Coleman are clever.
Love your adventures, thanks for sharing them with us!
I wish I had a friend like you
Thoroughly enjoyed the vacation. I'm living vicariously through you. Thanks Post10!
Post 10 you never cease to amaze me, worry me (I'm a mum/mom) and yet enjoy your thirst for experience. There is one thing for sure, you are educating others what is needed to even think about some of the things you do. Beautiful scenery and great video. Did you retrieve the trail camera?
I'm loving the vestibule with the floor on that tent. Great place to cook in inclement weather. You need to set it up and rain test it, to see if those seams are sealed. Love this winter camping stuff !
Never even heard of a black out tent. Good concept. Thanks for taking us along. Cheers
I really enjoy these type of videos by post 10
Love how you subtitle metric conversions for the rest of the 🌎. Thanks Post10❗

You should definetley do more camping videos 👌👍
One of my favorite videos.
Happy New Year 2023🍺🍻
Post 10 is the king of RUclips. A brilliant video.
I kinda like the overnight in the culvert experience - ingenious!! This seems luxurious compared to your awesome culvert hotel. But still an awesome video. Thank you!!
What a neat adventure. 👌 not that I would do it. I hate the cold. So much fun watching your videos Postie. Had to laugh while you were eating super speed. It looked so funny. Glad you are OK and no animals bothered you. Stay warm.
Amazing sleep over!!! You have a lot of sand to camp on a frozen river...cool 😎
Great video! You never disappoint. And thanks very much for the on screen conversions
Ugh, I was just a fan on your NEW&more channel and then I found out that you had this as main channel. And since then, I couldn't keep up with K-drama and other series in Netflix anymore, I couldn't even keep up with your videos either 😅 Makes me look forward spending my rest days binge-watching them 🤣 Fan from PH 🇵🇭
Your vids are such a pleasure to watch. You remind me a lot of myself back when I was younger. I did a lot of solo camping in Kentucky. I was usually more worried about running into a moonshiner than a coyote! LOL.
