In this video I show you how I drew, painted and coloured in a speed sketch of one of my favourite scenes from the film the Matrix! The great fight in the subway between Neo and Agent Smith!
With these speed sketches I try to limit myself to not be too picky over details and to draw and paint more fluidly and in more of an impressionist style. Which I find very hard to do as I'm very picky and careful over every detail in my work normally but really enjoy working a bit more freely in this quick and sketchy style :-)
For this sketch I used Daler and Rowney 230 gsm Acrylic paper, a Uni pin fine line 0.3 black pen, Daler and Rowney system 3 acrylic paints and Faber Castell polychromos pencils.
