In this video I show you how I drew and painted the famous "are you not amused!?" scene from the film the Gladiator!
With these speed sketches I try to limit myself to not be too picky over details and to draw and paint more fluidly and in more of an impressionist style. Which I find very hard to do as I'm very picky and careful over every detail in my work normally but really enjoy working a bit more freely in this quick and sketchy style :-)
For this sketch I used Daler and Rowney 230 gsm Acrylic paper, a Pentel Sharplet-2 0.5 mechanical pencil, Daler and Rowney system 3 acrylic paints.
