***HOW TO UPLOAD FICA DOCUMENTS ON FNB.CO.ZA***
NB: These steps are not for the mobile app
1. Login on fnb.co.za
2. Access the hamburger menu on the top left
3. Click on "Online Banking Settings"
4. Click the "Your Details " tab
5. You'll see an upload button under "FICA Documents", click on the button and upload ID & proof of Address

Hi, I’m not sure what that means but I’m assuming it means that the transaction is still being processed. It takes up to 8 days for funds to reflect on your account.
Mine does not show my capitec bank account when i want to withdraw. And when i go to "maintain paypal account " it wants balance of payment. I add my number on the telephone space but still it does this. What could be the problem?

Hey Noah, you cannot do this on the app. You have to go on the fnb website to be able to see the PayPal service.

Hi! I was finally able to link my PayPal to FNB account to my Standard bank account.
What I used in my PayPal to verify it, is my virtual card details I opened on my standard bank app because the normal card doesn't allow online transactions. I'm still waiting for it to show on my standard bank account though after successfully withdrawing it from PayPal. It's been 2 business days but I'm expecting it to be within 5 days, hopefully less. I hope this helps someone.

@@lebosebete2299 Yes, I did. I have been withdrawing my money there for almost a month now, it's very easy. It does take 3 business days though. But it's easy once you get the first withdrawal out. The fees are not too hefty as well, it's 1.5% of your dollars.

Hi, you can’t withdraw money directly from PayPal. You need to do it through FNB as I’ve shown in this video.
Routing number is used by Americans (maybe other nations as well) when withdrawing directly from PayPal

Hi Slindile, I'm not sure what you mean by declining your account? Just try and make sure the the base currency on your PayPal account is dollars, meaning your funds should all be converted to USD (that's the only thing I can think off that could be causing issues)
@@Napo4k Yes my balance is converted to USD .its saying " the merchant doesn't accept this card" in exact words, of which is confusing cause I followed your method and my account was verified.

Hey Thaby, the PayPal service is only available on the online banking platform (on a laptop/desktop) not on the mobile app or mobile website.

Hi Denovan, I'm assuming you applied for the account online? In that case you may need to to activate your account and online profile at an atm. However you do not need an FNB account to setup an online profile with FNB.
I've done everything and the money got deducted from the fnb account to confirm the account. I entered the code that was sent in the payment history. I'm waiting for the withdraw option to show up on the fnb online profile. How long does this take??

You can delete that account and re-add it. Otherwise just reach out to FNB.

Hi B, you need to use a laptop/desktop for this to work. You can’t do it in your phone.

Hi Senamile, did you upload your ID copy and proof of address?
Sign into your fnb profile and go to thehamburger menu on the top left and then click on "Online Banking Settings" and then go to the "Your Details" tab and you'll see an option to upload FICA documents. I hope that helps. Make sure you use a laptop when doing this.

Hey Poloko, when you verify your PayPal account you have to login to your PayPal account using a laptop then look for the option called 'Wallet' then click on the bank card you'll be using to transact to and from PayPal. You'll see an option that says 'verify you account' highlighted in blue, click on it and you'll see what is it you have to do from there.
It's supposed to take a certain fee from your SA account to ensure that it's really yours and is in your name. I think they do send it bank to you though. And then you'll get a notification from your bank that says "Reserved PP*(with a 4-digit code)...
You'll have to go back to you PayPal account, go back to 'Wallet' > go to the card> click on the highlighted part, and enter the 4-digit code to officially verify your account.

@@Napo4k Okay man cause I'm stuck at the part whereby I just clicked on LINK PAYPAL and it went through to that info page which I have to fill out my personal info in and confirm by clicking on the confirm button then it gives me an error message saying something like that they can't send the OTP to my cellphone numbers for whatever reason. Then I switched from my PC to their app but the app cannot give me a pass with my username. I tap on forgot username which I actually remember very clearly but still that doesn't do no deed so can't you shed your light this way please bruv

Hi, the “Reason for transaction” refers to the source of the funds. Try find something close to the source of your funds on that list. You can even select the one I selected on this video.

Hi, I linked an Absa account and you should be able to link any cheque account from any bank, it doesn't have to be an fnb account.
