No seriously though would it really kill them to give a proper Super and Hyper design for Tails, Knuckles and Amy? I mean they already bothered to craft sprites for Amy so why couldn't they go that extra mile and have one of their artist design an actual Super form for them. I mean at least in the case of Hyper Tails he gets his Flickies but Hyper Knuckles and Amy are literally the same as their Super counterparts.
I'm okay with Hyper Amy not being too different from Super Amy, only because I always thought of her as one of the least experienced with using super forms compared to Sonic, Tails and Knuckles who had big significant character arcs in the classic games, especially in Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
What annoys me is that from the beginning it was Super sonic and Hyper Knuckles then came Power Tails, growing up on the Archie comics haha. Really wish they kept Knuckles and Tails proper transformation colours. I know the games are not based off of the Archie comics but would of liked to see an Actual pink Knuckles and a more reddish Tails.

Oof they kept the fixed Super Sprites for Sonic 3 & Knuckles not kept the original behavior that Super/Hyper Sonic in the original Sonic 3 & Knuckles had sharing Super/Regular Sprites.
I don’t know why some people are upset about this collection at least be thankful that we got the four titles plus the game gear ones And a music track art book playable Amy and super as well and a new challenges At least be grateful that you’re getting all this in one disc.
Sonic classic collection on the DS was literally better because it kept the sonic 3 music that Michael Jackson worked on, that was the main reason people even wanted a remaster of sonic 3
Hrm. Except for Sonic, everyone else's super and hyper forms are basically just glorified invincibility monitors with a speed up effect. I mean, that's basically what they were in S3&K as well, but still. That's a little disappointing, but it's still nice to see them come back, and Amy actually get one.
I think Amy's Super form is the light pink, Tails and Knuckles Glow but when Tails flashes, It is the light yellow like his super form and when Knuckles flashes, it is pink like his real super form

Interesting they added a super form to Sonic 1 since there is one less emerald in that game. Wish they retconned the hyper form for Sonic CD if you break all the machines

a little bummed out that Amy doesn't really change much and is pretty similar to Knuckles and Tails. Then again I guess there's a pretty good reason as to why Amy can't go Super like Sonic, Shadow and Silver and that's because they're all freaks of nature. Sonic and Shadow are both Speedsters and Silver has telekinesis. Amy is pretty much the only normal playable hedgehog in the game while Tails has a genetic deformity that he basically turns lemons into lemonade while Knuckles is a average body builder and boxing champ. Again Sonic, Shadow, Blaze and Silver are all freaks with terrifying power. Amy, Tails and Knuckles are the normal people in the crowd.
You know I honestly forgot about Blaze, she definitely needs to come back, but like without Silver. Only cause I feel like Silver takes away some of her spotlight

They only exist because sega had to give you some type of reward for collecting 2 sets of emeralds. They don't actually exist in the plot. Sega rejected Ian's plan for Hyper Sonic because as far as they're concerned, it doesn't exist. They don't think about it. They have already said he will never return because they don't wanna have too many transformations like DBZ. Izuka even said in an interview that it's not possible to become Hyper Sonic anymore.

Knuckles hyper form creates a shockwave when he glides into walls and Tails gets the flickies around him that can damage enemies
they all have unique abilities thats enough
If playing on the Switch, Hyper Amy can throw hammers by pressing X.
If playing on Xbox, throw with Y.
Also "Hyper" Amy has an an attack that throws hammers in an arc

On Xbox if you press y with super Amy she throws her hammer

Amy should never get a hyper form only sonic and knuckles can turn hyper maybe not even tails cause he only appeared once in sonic 3 and was never used again at least super knuckles was mentioned in frontiers hyper amy would ruin the whole lore

@@elizabethpadilla7394 The story of Sonic 3 & Knuckles is canon, but the things that were added in as bonus features like super emeralds and hyper forms are not canon. They only exist because sega had to give you some type of reward for collecting 2 sets of emeralds. They don't actually exist in the plot. Sega rejected Ian's plan for Hyper Sonic because as far as they're concerned, it doesn't exist. They don't think about it. They have already said he will never return because they don't wanna have too many transformations like DBZ. Izuka even said in an interview that it's not possible to become Hyper Sonic anymore.
