I still have the 1st plant I ever bought. It is a pothos that is 45 years old. I have taken many cuttings, created new plants to give to friends and family. My auntie gave me a Christmas cactus that is probably 50 years old. She was moving to a tiny apartment and didn’t have room for it. Pothos and philodendron are really good for cleaning inside air.

I love workamping... We have been State Park host for 15 yrs and we love it!... Would not go back to sticks and bricks... Love being out in Nature.... So cool you have Wild Turkeys... wow!... Thanks for sharing!
Wow! Pretty cool! I was a camp host for five months for Ca. Land Management in Ca. A lot of work! But, free hook up and a whole lot of good folks and local crazys! Lol! Alot of fun!
keep updating on the work kamping position ... I tried the forest service last year ... loved the work and campers but the admin was a bit off .... woke up to smoke and campers knocking on the door asking if there was a fire ... there was but they forgot to tell the hosts that there was an intentional burn ...love your feed ... just subscribed
My oldest daughter LOVES plants too!!! Her house is filled with all kinds of plants, She even was Mother Nature last year for Halloween!!!! LOVES/HUGS to you & those PRECIOUS furbabies!!!!
Hi, Pippi! just saying "hi" and the pothos / plants is a great idea. Plants make oxygen so are very healthy and restful. I think it's good to share our spaces with other living things. I'm going to pick up a pothos for the real thing. You seem back to your happy self and that's good.

We love workamping and have done several. Some for exchange for a site and some pay hourly. Just wait the front desk/ answering phones can get interesting at times! Best of luck and enjoy!
Glad to hear you are working for the Corps! Most of their campgrounds are great. Beware, male turkeys can and will do lots of damage to your truck if they see their reflection.....
workamping is something I could see myself doing after retirement, one of my favorite spots is in a valley with mountains on two sides and a stream at the base of one , the park is managed by the state and workamper who works about 4 hrs a day 6 days a week... jobs include making sure bathrooms are clean and campers obeying the rules (there is a park ranger who enforces it) and camp fire areas are completely extinguished after campers leave... electricity-water-electric is included but not sure what the pay is , likely not much but the scenery alone is worth it

Great place. I’d never guess I’d be in Texas for over 6 months straight. Back to Massachusetts at the end of august for a bunch of doctor, vet, dentist and RV maintenance appointments, then coming right back. My summer camp at “home” decided to never open this season, afraid of litigation if someone got sick. Major pain in the butt. Nobody wants me near them for driveway docking since I’m coming from Texas, even though I’ve been more socially distanced here than there.
Great video. I’m glad you are where you are. I feel it s safer for you. Love the plants. The Pothos plant needs transport to another larger pot. I feed my plants every 2 weeks. They will thrive better
Hi Pippi, I am enjoying following your videos. You are such a down to Earth person; I love your life. I have just begun camping in a pop up camper. My wife is learning to be more outdoorsy, but I guess it will come with time. We also have been taking trips with our dogs when we can which has been fun. Maybe one day we can move up to a Class C and go on longer trips. Cheers to you! Loved the day drinking & jam making video. I don't make jam but enjoy drinking wine while cooking, so I could relate.

Man! I knew those COE office jobs looked like they'd be sweet and easy! I came so close to applying for one, but decided to go for a camp host job instead ... drove all the way from New Mexico to Virginia, and it was NOT sweet! I wound up leaving after two weeks, landing at an RV park in Alabama! It's OK, though. I can see God's hand in it, trying to settle me down a bit! I'M GOING FOR THE COE OFFICE JOB NEXT TIME!

My home base is East Texas. The Corp of Engineers manages some outstanding lakeside property. Many RV sites are actually right on the lake shore. My "home lake" is Lake O The Pines which has 4 Corp RV parks with many outstanding sites to choose from. Safe travels!

Your plants are doing so well and look so healthy. BUT FYI research those plants in your living room because some plants are TOXIC to pets. Also, be sure to keep your dogs away from the salt lamp. There have been cases where pets have licked salt lamps/etc. and have died. Just some info. to worry and be cautious of with your beautiful "kids". Enjoy your lovely campsite.

My wife and I are work-campers. We're in Utah now and will be spending the winter work-camping in Southern Arizona for the winter.
