Tilicho base camp trek is a wonderful package of trekking in the Annapurna Region, Manang, and Mustang, with the adventure of trekking through the Thorong La Pass and visiting the highest altitude lake in the world-the Tilicho Lake.
Tilicho Base Camp Trekking
Tilicho Base Camp Trekking Regarded as one of the highest lakes in the world, it rests in the stunning location in the Annapurna region at an altitude of 5,000 meters. It was also the site of one of the highest ever altitude scuba dives in the year 2000. Tilicho Lake collects the glacial melt of the entire northern slopes of Annapurna and Thorung.
This trek begins from Besisahar which goes along the Marshyangdi River, with great views of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east. We then skirt Tilicho Lake from the north where we will camp for a night. From our camp by the shores of the lake, we climb up to the Mesokonto La where we are rewarded with the first views of the Kali Gandaki Valley. Along the trail we will go upstream to Kagbeni and up a side valley to the shrine at Muktinath, sacred to Hindus and Buddhists alike.

Look man! there is a difference between bravery and stupidity. Despite having fore knowledge of the weather condition, you ignored local people's warning and actually went ahead with your decision to go for the Tilicho Lake which is one of the most difficult and dangerous trekking trail here in Nepal specially those 2 hrs walk long landslide area where small to medium rock falls are occasionally common. You didn't even have the proper guidance of the certified expert trekking guide.
It is no longer adventurous when you are more in fear than fun which we all can see it in your and trilok's face and with that being said stay safe and enjoy your trip to Nepal. Cheers!
P.S The motive behind me writing all these messages is solely based on sprading awareness amongst our fellow Indian, local and foreign travllers to have a safe and sound trip during their Nepal visit. Annapurna circuit (tilicho lake) trek is undoubtly one of the best travel route in the world and hence would like to extend our greetings to every soul who are planning to visit Nepal through this(Dream Chaser) channel.

Such a good track for trekkers with railings, walls on side n tea houses, we don't have in india such tracks except sandakphu
Nepal is heaven to the trekkers where from Country earns lots of money so Nepal has all the facilities in the trails of world famous trekking routes and destinations. Sandakphu doesn't look like trekking route because it has blacktopped road up to the hill and people rarely follow the foot trails. But if you move from the Nepal side then there is a trekking route for the trekkers.
