Everyone has their machines they rave about. I have used and still use both the Brother and Studio type machines. I do prefer the Studio as the carriages tend to move easier but I love how the Brother machines show the selected needles, too bad they cannot combine and make a whole new machine. Maybe someday it will happen but do not think so. Now I do have the Knit King KR900 ribber, that is the same as the Brother KR850, that is a nice standard ribber but then I also have the KR710 ribber that goes on my KH710, so pretty much set with my machines. Now the studio ribbers can do the pile knit but with a little work around, the brother machines can also do it. Tried it on the bulky but just couldn't get that to happen. So each machine may be good at one thing but the other side will be good at something else. Hope that helps. Berda
