I am punjabi but I search everyday tamil songs of illayraja sir, a r rehman sir..such a beautiful language.. I will not die peacefully until I learn tamil...and what a composition this is...ar sir u are pride of India..
Music has no language..Ar Rahman music has such a divinity to enrich and shine any language in this universe..All languages would sound sweet and delicious..
Everyone are praising Rahman's music but Valee's lyrics deserves equal credits too and this happened to be the last song of Valee which he wrote before his death.
Equal credit should go to valee. No one denying it. But the reason people are praising Rahman is because of his rendition of the song.such a soulful rendition not every music director can produce this kind of rendition which was poetic line. And his voice very soothing.
I'm not a Tamilian but can manage the language. And trust me, not knowing Tamil is a curse !!! Apart from my mother tongue, Tamil and Urdu are my favorite languages, so beautiful to listen...
Hi...I am from Indonesia...I dont know the meaning...however...the harmonies of music in AR Rahman's song bring me all happiness. You guys are professional...wonderfull job... Peace from Indonesia for you all.
If there is any magician of music, that is A.R. Rahman. I love Tamil music, even though I don't understand a word of it. Lots of love from Islamabad, PAKISTAN ❤🇵🇰
தமிழுக்கு அமுதென்று பேர் இன்பத்தமிழ் எங்கள் தமிழ் எங்கள் உயிருக்கு மேல் Such a beautiful language Tamil.😍😍😍😘 Every minute every second i am breathing tamil. Thank you god for giving me tamil as my mother tongue 😍😍😍

Music has no language..Ar Rahman music has such a divinity to enrich and shine any language in this universe..All languages would sound sweet and delicious..
Even I didn't get a single word still I know only one thing, AR Rahman is simply awesome. he made it so melodious that I'm addicted to this song. can't stop listening. Love from Pakistan!
Without understanding any lyrics, I still have listened to this song countless number of times. Kudos and salute to the pride of India...AR Rahman and his entire team. Love from West Bengal.

This would have been an amazing theme song to a movie themed on Existentialism. Phenomenal rendition by AR. I am glad that I lived during the time when legends like him were making divine music. I live in the same city as his and Oh what I would do to just meet and talk to him... Ella Pugazhum Iraivanukae!
What a song you are really great sir.....I am from Andhra but I love Tamil also very much....and I am trying to learn Tamil now. One day will definitely sing this song myself in Tamil :)

Probably A R is Chennai's best gift to the rest of the world... Earlier I thought the soundtrack of Vinnai Thandi Varuvaaya as A R's best work till date but now I'm coming across a gem everyday.. .... ...Naan Yen Piranthay has just blown me away....
This is a beautiful song written on the deathbed by Tamil poet Vali, and rendered by AR Rehman into this touching and strong song which completely caught me off guard for it covers a grave topic and left me feeling empty. I just want to say life is a miracle! Whatever problems you are going through is temporary and will get solved. If you are considering suicide, please DONT. Talk to someone... anyone! For we are all humans after all! Enjoy the song! பச்சக்கரு யாவும் பாவக்கரு அல்ல... Pachcha karu yaavum paavakkaru alla நீயும் நானும் யாரு குத்தம் குற (குறை) சொல்ல.. this is the first ever Tamil song that I heard... frankly speaking... rahman nailed it.. Rahman performs Tamil songs with much ease and perfection compared to Hindi songs. King of Music. I don't understand a word of Tamil yet I have heard this song a lot of times... perhaps this is a testamony to the fact that music has no language... salute to the most humble musician this country has ever seen... !!!!!
+Vinod Tiwari bro! jus read the description to know what the songs is all about. SO intense lyrics. literally makes me cry. this video has been borrowed by a big charity organisation in Tamil Nadu, and they released a video of a young poor boy's life with this song in background. God it brought tears to all who were watching this at my workplace

What a divine song from many levels!!! Not sure what every one else feels, but I truly think that musicians like AR Rahman may be the messengers of peace from the divine for the chaotic hate filled times we seem to live in. Music is truly the message of the divine to all life on earth. May 2020 bring all life on this planet more peace and unity. God bless!
+Abdul Jelani Exactly the same thoughts Abdul..I think something that most people would have missed in this piece is the sufi influence in this song. Rahman we know is a big fan of sufi music.

I'm regular customer for this video... Who else???♥️♥️♥️♥️ March 10, 2020???!!!! ..... And here I'm again for this song..❣️ editing my comment on 2/3/2022... Always for ARR💗❤️
The humming part, the way AR Rahman sang aariro, the guitar's rhythm, manage to make me feel with emotions every single time ! I sobbed like a little girl, every single damn time... ❤ LOVE all the way from Indonesia... 🙋♀️
Had tears just hearing the first few lines... just love the way it stars... "Oru ooril oru gudisai, Nadhiyoram pachcha maram pala varisai"... How much more beautiful can a song be... can hear tis all day....
For those who can't connect with the lyrics... This song is about the female infanticide... The song starts with the beautiful village aspects followed by birth sound of a child when the whole world is silent... Then the song starts with the aspect of the child questioning on what is its mistake of coming to this earth... Hope this will help you guys understand the brilliant lyrics of the legend "Vali"

The man has already discovered the "truth" of God a long time ago. I can. Hear it from his voice and his emotions. There are things stopping him now but eventually you'll be looking at a saint soon.
This is the first time that I stumbled on Mr. A.R. Rahman's song. For no reason, the song brought tears to my eyes. I don't know much about the music note but he sings in such high pitch so beautifully. The lyrics that question why was I born with no answer is so touching .
Mr. ARR you just reminded us why there can be no music composer like you ever. Also you are proving that you are not only the greatest composer of all times, but you are equally a greatest singer.
rajesh raj he is from Brazil and speaks Portuguese! He doesnot understand the words but loves rahman s music or more appropriately traditional fusion and admires the diversity!
Don't get a single word but it feels like I understand everything, pure magic. Can't believe its been 9 years, this never gets old. Deserves a 100 times more views.
I really don't know but, theres some kind of brilliance in this song. The way it flows, the soothing nature, ARR's voice, back vocals by the singers. All together its a treat!
I’m from Sri Lanka and I also cannot understand a single Tamil word except amma & appa even though Madras is the nearest Indian city to us. But after listening to some Tamil movie songs (A R Rahman, Hariharan) with subtitles I started to appreciate the realistic cinematography, melodies and the meaningful lyrics of those songs. They are art-wise beyond the so-called North Indian commercial cinema music which is apparently burrowed Pakistani Talent in most cases. For example this particular song is definitely derived from Tamil falk music and polished by AR Rahman in to a fine piece of art 👍
"Borrowed Pakistani talent in pakistani cases" is quite untrue. Indian musicians have far outweighed the number of pakistani musicians in Bollywood. That being said, I agree with you on mainstream Bollywood music. Some of the independent bands/artists are worth checking out though (some not Hindi) : The local train, when chai met toast, F16s, Prateek Kuhad, Hanumankind etc

There are two kinds of artists in this world.. one is ARR and then the "rest".. label them whatever you want :D ... "Yaaro yaar arivaaro?" just takes the breath away... Even an atheist will become religious after listening to you sir!! Hats off to you..
Recent research on Indus script points heavily towards Tamil.... Indus script was some early form of Tamil... that makes Tamil without question the oldest language in existence....older than Lithuanian..... I wish to learn Tamil someday....
www.harappa.com/script/parpola15.html Please check this link.... Not the only source, there are several ongoing research on this.... I am no researcher myself.... I am only a reader....
raju enterprises basically Indus people probably spoke the North Dravidian language family.... the like spoken in Brahui in the mountain regions near Afghanistan....one of the last remaining bastions of dravidian speakers in the north.....
lol dont even dare to say Tamil has any links with other languages or script they will eat you Alive. Just say it popped suddenly like a mushroom and is completely original.

Everyone are praising Rahman's music but Valee's lyrics deserves equal credits too and this happened to be the last song of Valee which he wrote before his death.
Rishikhant Pandian the great poet love from kerala
Equal credit should go to valee. No one denying it. But the reason people are praising Rahman is because of his rendition of the song.such a soulful rendition not every music director can produce this kind of rendition which was poetic line. And his voice very soothing.
YES
This was not Vaalee’s last song. In fact it was a Poem from Vaalee about a girl shunned by society.
@@JatmonNaveen last song to be composed.
Tamil is such a beautiful language that I didn't understand a word still can feel the meaning of this song. Huge respect and love from Pakistan.

Also, magic of Valee Ayya! Just 2 words , but so much depth in it!
Jesus christ, what a song, what a language, what a genious, Nobody can sing with those emotions then A.R.Rahman.

This is a beautiful song written on the deathbed by Tamil poet Vali, and rendered by AR Rehman into this touching and strong song which completely caught me off guard for it covers a grave topic and left me feeling empty.

If you are considering suicide, please DONT. Talk to someone... anyone! For we are all humans after all!

Am from phillipines i dont understand even a single words but i love AR Rahman...
this is the first ever Tamil song that I heard... frankly speaking... rahman nailed it..

God bless!
Your last few lines seem like a joke to me. Go corona go.
Ar Rahman deserves separate oscar for his vocals
I don't know the tamil but... I watched this Prob. 100+ times... Some kind of magic is in this song.... love u rehman sab...

Naan yen piranthen?
Kan yen thiranthen?
Enakkey theriyaathey...
Why am I born?
Why did I open my eyes?
I do not know...
Pachcha karu yaavum paavakkaru alla
Neeyum naanum yaaru kuththam kora solla
All those fetuses are not sinned
Who are you and I,
to find a fault in?
Poththal ulla moongilla saththamulla paattu varum
A hole in the bamboo stick
Brings out a good song
Kannangaru megam thaan
uyir vaazha payir vaazha mazhai kottuthey
Even the clouds turn dark and black
But they bring the rain back
For survival of crops!
For survival of mankind!!
Naan yen piranthen?

Enakkey theriyaathey...
Why am I born?
Why did I open my eyes?
I do not know...

The humming part, the way AR Rahman sang aariro, the guitar's rhythm, manage to make me feel with emotions every single time ! I sobbed like a little girl, every single damn time... ❤
LOVE all the way from Indonesia... 🙋♀️
Had tears just hearing the first few lines... just love the way it stars... "Oru ooril oru gudisai,
Nadhiyoram pachcha maram pala varisai"...
Speechless
Thanks for enlighting us with concept.
Love ❣️

wow...amazing music by ARR
Please... Thank you
Sir AR Rahman unite the whole world by his experimentel and successful music.Thank you sir
Music has no language, religion and boundaries. Ar Rahman has made Indians realize that
I'm from Odisha and I have studied in Chennai so I learnt something Tamil language and I love to listen rahman sir song
The man has already discovered the "truth" of God a long time ago. I can. Hear it from his voice and his emotions. There are things stopping him now but eventually you'll be looking at a saint soon.
சத்தியமா எனக்கும் தெரியல . அருமையாய் நெஞ்சுக்குள் இறங்கும் பாட்டு.திரைக்கதை உருவாக்க கூடிய நாட்டு. செம.
I was crying, my tears were flowing out like anything when he raised his hands and sung yaro Yar arivaro..... Rahman ur vibe is wired in my nuerons
AR Rahman ye yen pirandhen nu ketta.. nanellam yem "innum uyiroda irukkaen" nu than padanum
This is the first time that I stumbled on Mr. A.R. Rahman's song. For no reason, the song brought tears to my eyes. I don't know much about the music note but he sings in such high pitch so beautifully. The lyrics that question why was I born with no answer is so touching .
A disturbed human mind can be mellowed down by this magical song.....thx AR!
This song definitely needs to find space in a Mani Ratnam movie.
Super thought bro
This comes in end credits of manirathinam movie raavan
@@gopinathbalakrishnan7390 That's a different song- Naan Varuven..
+1
I don't understand a word but I love every note. Love from Canada
This is Tamil song, former song
Mr. ARR you just reminded us why there can be no music composer like you ever.
Also you are proving that you are not only the greatest composer of all times, but you are equally a greatest singer.
Rahman rules. All i can say.
rajesh raj alibaug
Edson F Cordeaca malayalamstageshow
rajesh raj he is from Brazil and speaks Portuguese! He doesnot understand the words but loves rahman s music or more appropriately traditional fusion and admires the diversity!
@rajesh vengat I see u everywhere watching him and asking same question
goosebumps.... My birth is incomplete without Ar rahman sir music.
karthik n me also
karthik n yess it’s true me also
Don't get a single word but it feels like I understand everything, pure magic. Can't believe its been 9 years, this never gets old. Deserves a 100 times more views.
Tamil people are so intelligent and creative.

Thank you bro
Aryan Mishra that’s a baseless generalisation brother
every human hàs a talent in something 🙂
@Raksanta Sakthivel nahi hum gadhe hain... Hum gadhe hai
Still any one listening in 2024 ?
✌
i cant understand tamil lyrics but I entertain many many times this song. If i cant tamil i can feel the melody. what a melody

In Love already!!!!! AR RAHMAN is the GOAT
My languages are so beautiful...our heritage...Beautiful composition
Thats world language!! Tamil!!
SIr please provide links on your research..
www.harappa.com/script/parpola15.html
Please check this link....
So you still believe in Aryan invasion theory?
Especially after 04:04 ...rombha nalla erukka....
Can't understand the lyrics but what a magic rahman saab creates with this song ! Rahman saab agar 13 ka table bi gaa ke sunayenge wo bhi ek masterpiece ban jayega
Heard it thousand times ✨✨such treatment only you can give A R sir 💕💕✨✨
When music is from A R Rahman sir

Soothing music from the Maestro - The man with not a bone of negativity. His music is life affirming just like him. Thank you Rahman-saab
love....so touching song. love from indonesia...medan.
Everyone talks about AR Rahman’s music and yess he is a composer extraordinaire but IMO his vocal prowess is underrated.
From 4:54 for about 4 brief secs, the shake of the head of ARR..wow truly in resonance with the fabric of the tune and meaning of those words.
Perfect ❤️❤️
Music has no language..Ar Rahman music has such a divinity to enrich and shine any language in this universe..All languages would sound sweet and delicious..
வாலி வாலி தான்.. அற்புதமான வரிகள்.. அற்புதமான மெட்டு.. ARR rocks
🤩🤩🥰👌
I dnt understand the meaning but still when ever I hear this song, I feel like I m in heaven.
it's 4:13 in the morning and it was so so so so beautiful to hear this song by this time...! ARR mixes something in his music that others can't... Damn! What a man!😘
Artists in India and Pakistan going berserk creating masterpieces on Coke Studio and then the Boss checks in and blows them all with a language most of us don't understand!!
God wanted to listen to music, so he made AR Rahman. Songs can be amazing, but he makes stuff that is totally out of the world.
Heavenly!
