Photography is one of the oldest forms of media. Thanks to the camera, we’re able to capture moments as well as see what life was like in the past. Never again do we have to forget faces, because the existence of photos are sentimental reminders of what life used to be like! But, occasionally, there are photos that surface to the public that look pretty confusing! If they don’t already frighten you, then they will definitely confuse you! When we find a photo that can’t be explained, it can be easy to immediately blame it on the supernatural. Yet, for the skeptics out there, it can cause one to go mad to try to debunk these photos. At the end of the day, we don’t know how the photos were taken and what anomaly took place. But this also goes to show that we have a lot to learn - not only cameras, but from the world around us!

The girl in the photo was smiling but changed expression right when the photo was taken. So bc some types of camera scan the scenery horizontally that was the ending result. Nothing paranormal but is pretty cool at least

The sailing stones phenomenon is caused when moisture is collected and froze at night creating a thin layer of ice giving the stones the ability to move or glide on the surface of the ground.

The sailing stones one was debunked. That desert can be extremely windy, and after it rains and winds start, the rocks can actually be pushed along.

The one at 3:58 can be explained by the rolling-shutter effect. The rolling-shutter effect is something cameras do to improve function. If cameras loaded a full picture all at once, it would be really laggy and slow so what it does is it uses a "rolling shutter" which means it loads the picture from side to side either horizontally or vertically depending on the camera. The girl in the picture must have changed expression too quickly for the rolling shutter to catch up. And the one at 3:00 she was holding her hair.

Absolutely right.
No, that's not been "proven" it's just a theory.. and it's also been disproven. Firstly, even if there is a layer of ice at night, it doesn't account for the grooves in the sand, which would take more force to create than simply sliding on the ice could effect. Secondly, there's no wind at night, and in fact, there's no source of wind in death valley at all to speak of, anyways, certainly nothing strong enough to push 10 to 20 pound stones around..

Maybe this photo was taken with a old camera, maybe that's why you think it's 1930. Maybe it was posed to like it is 1930.
I can't explain all the photos but i have some explanations.
1.For the sailing stones it already confirmed its a natural phenomenon because of the ice that is formed in night on the stones and due to flat dirt ground the stone slips by help of wind.
2.For the mirror photo of girl that kind of situation can be a excellent example of coincidence of the effect of late light reflection. Sometimes in natural dimlight conditions light can be some sort of late in getting reflected. In mirrors this appears as an diversion.The girl might be laughing a second ago and next second she was silent for the photo just as the camera clicked the late light reflection.
I can solve the photo of the woman with the cell phone, her hand is up by her hair and what you are seeing isnt a cell phone , but instead a shadow caused by her hand and hair. or maybe a clutch or simaluar item

I’m from Death Valley. The sailing stones are not a mystery. There are 100+ MPH winds there and on the RARE occasion of rain (about 4” per year) it does flood that valley. This makes the ground muddy- wet and that’s when the winds come through. The rocks ARE pushed by something-the wind and if you go to the Death Valley national park, it explains that quoted from scientists that have been there to study the rocks.
The one with the white lady in the church, if you look, on the floor, in front of the "apparition" there are shoes. This is either a bright light, or a camera malfunction.

The mystery of the stones moving. Is at night it gets so cold at night it forms ice around them. Which then causes them to slide. Once morning comes it gets warm and the ice melts leaving the stones where they end up. That's my take on why the stones appear to move

The stones get cold at night making ice on the bottom of rocks then it gets hot in the day melting the ice in to water and the wind pushes the rocks along because they are slippery

Brisa Ascencio have you ever heard of a rock slide? Yeah so wet ground = slippery surface, 70+MPH winds= force to be reckoned with. Put those two together and there you have it. I’ve literally been at the Death Valley national park where the rocks are. You’re welcome.

That woman at 3:05 isn't holding a cellphone or any kind of device. She's moving her own hair back because it was windy. If you look closely it becomes obvious it's just her own hair. Actually, any of those photos showing what appears to be a cell phone are patently absurd, because, like, there's NO *cellphone service* ! Haven't those people that make those claims thought about that?
If I saw someone playing a game on a cellphone I'd be more likely to believe it (maybe) but no way talking on a cell back then..

the stones are no mistery, it has to to with the ice and have been filmed. the photo with the boys is from the first boy, and what use would a cellphone be without a sattelite?

The reason for the last photo is the shutter of the camera it moves left to right or the other way. And by time it got to the girl she changed her face.
Keegan Iverson No, in fact I'm positive it is a demon being reflected. They are able to take on nearly any form including human form. Why do I say this? There is another video, not photo, of a little asian girl and she's playing in front of a mirror. Everything is normal until her reflection completely freezes as she continues to move. It stares intently at the viewer as the young girl continues to play, oblivious as to what is happening. It is the supernatural at work. Everything can't be explained by shutter speeds and camera angles. Look up the video on RUclips. I can't remember the exact link but if you search hard enough you'll find it.

When you take a picture, you don’t snap it immediately. It gets scanned left to right, modern phones do it so fast it is hard to notice. But it is possible that an old camera caught the girl smiling when scanning the left side, and the girl just changed facial expression while taking the picture.

The stones move because they are on dried up lakes so any water left makes them slide. There’s a time lapse video of one rock showing this.

On the one with the moving stones, it can get very could and that causes ice, once the ice has melted then it turns to water, which moves the stones around

1 possible explanation to the mirror girl photo could be that the girl in the mirror is the image of the girl a few moments ago. As we know light reflectes from mirrors so it could be the time difference

Hi guys, the sailing stones was explained awhile back, during the night when it’s freezing ice can form under the rocks and the wind pressure then moves them, they did lab experiments and films the rocks doing it to prove it

the sliding rock mystery has been pretty concretely solved, scientists timelapsed one moving, and figured out that it was moved by ice. For a big youtube channel I don't understand why you didn't research more on this...

At first glance the young girl and her reflection look pretty weird, but if some one had no mirror and simply identically divided a room up with a small bottom partition and what appear to be identical reflections around empty space then a pair of twin girls positioned carefully would give the impression of two different images in an non existent mirror. Cool effect though impressive illusion.
