SDR 50th anniversary: clip 7

In this clip, taken from our 50th anniversary video, visiting GWR 0-6-0PT No 6430 is seen departing from Totnes Riverside with a four-car auto train bound for Buckfastleigh over the 50th anniversary weekend.
These auto (or push and pull) trains were a feature of GWR branch lines and, in the early days of preservation, we used them extensively as there was no ability to run the locomotive round at Totnes Riverside in those days.
6430 was originally based at Buckfastleigh, having been purchased direct from BR service as a source of spares for locos 6412 and 6435. However, she was sold and eventually restored on the Llangollen Railway, where she is now based.
