Indeed, but I feel like sometimes it is better to disconnect houses to reduce traffic on cerain busy roads with crossroads. I noticed that cars got better to their mall when when there is less traffic. If there is too much traffic they end up block each other and it actually can take longer for them to arrive. There seems to be a right balance although I need to investiage this further.

Can you explain the road restructuring starting at 18:16 near the houses?
The lvl 2 buildings need 6 houses at least and the lvl 1 need 3 . Need to keep those area cut off so that no more buildings spawn and disturb the flow
