    That's some delicious news about a cookbook in the works, how wonderful! You're such an artist, really. You're like famous painter that paints with flavors and ingredients and best of all we get dinner in the end. Pasta with blue cheese and lemon, yes please and thank you!

    WOW! I am BEYOND excited to try this out! It has SO many things in it I love like the bleu cheese and lemon, never thought to pair those two together even though I can already tell they're a powerhouse of tangy flavors. Never had nuts in pasta before (minus pine nuts) but excited to try that also. One addition I think would be extra fun in this is some finely sliced marinated garlic, it would play very well with the lemon I think. Also maybe swapping the garlic for shallots for extra dimension. I have absolutely LOVED your marmite pasta and did indeed become addicted to it so THRILLED to make this. Thanks for the awesome ideas and videos Paula!

    Ooh, this looks nice. It took me a while to get into blue cheeses but love them now. Great idea to use up my stash (it's a sort of tradition to buy blue cheese over the Christmas period where I come from lol, along with sprouts- will be using those too here as you suggested). Happy new year to my fave food RUclipsr, here's hoping 2022 is a better year for all of us🙂

    You had me at Blue Cheese! Again *slaps forehead* I don't know why I haven't tried adding blue cheese to hot pasta before, I mean, I add it to hot bread all of the time and add grated hard Italian cheeses to pasta as well. Did you add the rind or are you one of those cut the rind off person? I always was up until about a year ago and then I didn't and Hokey Smoke! The rind packs a punch and I'm talking about Blue Stilton. Anyhow. Thank you for all of your great ideas this year and hope your and yours a happy and healthy New Year! Cheers!

    • @HowToMakeDinner
      @HowToMakeDinner  2 года назад +4

      I'm a rind gal! Blue stilton is one of my faves too. I once bought a half wheel for 2 pounds at Tesco right after Christmas. I'll never forget that moment.

    • @STVG71
      @STVG71 2 года назад +1

      @@HowToMakeDinner Half wheel?? I would be in a cheese coma if I could get my hands on that much Blue Stilton. I figured you were a rind gal being as you like some bold flavors. I was going to make a joke about the rinds I find most offputting are on the cheeses that are cased in wax because it is so chewy. I took the high road and omitted it.

    I wish I could find that pasta around these parts. That recipe looks absolutely amazing. Gotta try this for sure. For some reason my mind keeps thinking "capers". Not sure if that would go with that combination or not but a bitter note might be welcome with the pungent bleu and a hit of salt with the capers as well. Very well done, Paula. Excellent. Thank you

    I spent the weekend binging dozens of your recipes. I’m hooked! Thanks for the great content. I find it curious the way “plant-based” has taken off as well! I used to be vegan and I would get really strange and charged responses when people found out. I think the vegans love to use plant-based now because the general public is much more accepting. And it gets away from all the vegan policing that used to go on. Anyway. Thanks for your awesome channel. You have me seriously considering getting an Instant Pot.

      Hi Megan! I’m so glad you’re liking the channel! I love binging on cooking shows too. 😅 You make a good point. I hadn’t thought of the sometimes negative connotation that comes with the word vegan. Plant based does feel a bit less loaded somehow. Makes sense! I highly recommend the instant pot, even if all you ever cook in it are beans (and yogurt if you’re a yogurt person). Thanks for saying hi!
