When I was in the UK the other day, this man I used to see working class looked well was gone down to nothing asking for help, I was shocked and he said honestly I just want to kill myself I've lost everything. It's getting bad

My fear is getting ill or illness,to whom do I call ,as a local doctor...or the nearest hospital . That is what stopping me from going to Jamaica ,a paradise to live ... You utube as open so many minds and eyes ,to living in sheer beauty. The out door life style is to die for! Not literally...
I completely understand this Lorraine. The hospital out here is not the best, and more needs to be done because we depend on these services and want to trust that in time of serious need, they can help to whatever extent needed. However, private doctors out here are very good. For example, I had terrible anxiety in the UK, and it left me in physical pain. I went to the hospital in the UK, and as usual, they started looking up on their computers to try and find out the issue. Came to Jamaica with that pain and found a private Dr, and I swear all he did was examine me one time and said you slept badly and gave me a cream to rub on the area and the next day gone.... my mum also had a medical problem. She did so many checkups in the UK and nothing, but came to Jamaica on a visit, went to the Dr for something else, and by quick examination. He was able to identify and tell her she went back to the UK and informed her Dr and they did an x-ray, and long story short, she had surgery that actually stopped a lot problems she was facing. I say all of this to say that I understand your fear because it's your health, but there are great private doctors here. However, I always say don't make the move sudden to Jamaica. on your visits to Jamaica; do research, ask questions, etc. and I always say if it's that serious and I'm in doubt, I can always travel back to the UK for medical help. I mean, older people are living longer out here from the looks of it than what I witness in the UK.... 🥰🥰🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Jamaica is paradise
