- WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER VIDEO ESCAPERS 🥰🥰🥰
HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AND SEEING HOW SIMILAR OR DIFFERENT IT IS TO ABOARD 😁😁
Thanks @Escape! The whole ambience of the supermarket, the building and the underground parking is definitely giving a foreign vibes, like Walmart, Costco and Longo's. As someone who's getting ready to move back to Jamaica I'm hopefully that we will see one in St.Thomas in the near future considering the major development taking place there. I am blown away by the pre-made package soup condiments 😅 I love supporting my local farmers so for provision I will go to the market and YES! we have Fabuloso here in Canada 🇨🇦 and National bun and cheese sticks is my goto snack. Thank you for yet again another beautiful vid you did a great job mum and grandma looking awesome as always.👏🏾💐💖
You're welcome... they are starting to develop St Thomas, so I'm sure they'll put one or something similar to attract more people. Especially those returning to Jamaica. Jamaica is developing, and I love to see it. Lool, I was like, wow, for pre made soup package as well. Most definitely recommend getting veg and fruits from the market. Fabuloso is not in the UK, and that sucks lol...
Blessings to you 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Love to see that they’re devolving our parish. Pray that one day it will be us building rather than external people. Thank you for sharing girl!
I agree ‼️‼️‼️ we need more development, but we need to do more... I see many more establishments Mandeville can have and even the Brooks Park. I think they should set it up where families can have picnics and kids can play etc.
@@escapewiddev 100% let’s hope and pray for our parish
I recently discovered your channel and am loving your content. Your mum is gorgeous! My husband and I currently live in North America, but we're finishing our home just outside of Mandeville and planning to move there. I'm not Jamaican, but I love the island life. Blessings 🎉
Can you do a video with your mom giving tips on best preparations to make to move back home, and ensuring survival there?
Most definitely, Chan 🥰🙏🏽
Hi guys 😊 your supermarkets are just like ours in Grenada 🇬🇩 everything is the same weather we are in England 🏴 or the Caribbean. I ❤️ looking at your Family, it reminds me of my family very close with each other. Beautiful family 😊
Love that shopping vlog. I sat here and watched the whole video.. Love the way you guys are enjoying your Jamaican life. So sweet to see your grandma living her best life. Awesome!!! God's richest blessings 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Blessings to you 🥰🙏🏽 literally everything is the same... these small islands that people like to look down at are developing really well.
@gloriaward2009 🥰🥰🥰 Thank you Queen. . Jamaica life is sweet... God richest blessings on you 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great to see what's available in Mandeville.
🙏🏽🙏🏽 Mandeville is stepping up and needs a little more development in terms of more things to attract tourists and keep people in Mandeville so they don't have to travel out to Kingston.
@@escapewiddev given it's proximity to Kinston, and it's temperature, Mandeville is definitely on the rise. Considering planting my flag there. 🤔
I agree that Mr Nelson Mandeville is coming up, and it'd be beautiful to witness. Especially when something new comes to town, you're like ok let's go 💪🏾
@@escapewiddev 👍
That's my main supermarket, love it..
It's really lovely, Carla 🙏🏽
Bless up yourself Dev, with your pretty self, along with your hot mom and grand mom. Greetings from me in New York City, you let me missed home as you goes shopping in Progressive. My base was Kingston when I comes home.I enjoyed your videos
Love this blovg, now I know where I can get my blue berries and Quinoa when I come home. Wish the price was show on the quinoa thou. Bless up❤
They definitely have a lot of great stuff there. To me, the price is just about the same as if I were in the UK. Therefore, if someone is moving to Jamaica on a good enough budget or still earning a medium to high income and wants a comfortable shopping experience, then this is perfect.
Sorry I didn't capture the price of the Quinoa.. bless up 🙏🏽🥰
Your Grandma made me laugh when she repeated what you’ve said “ Yuh nuh want nuh buddy” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love how you ladies do things to bond, lovely family unit 🥰
Stay safe and bless 🙏🏾
😅😅😅😅 imagine lol thank you and love and blessings to you 🥰🙏🏽
Wendy's I haven't had a Wendy's for years. I use to love eating their burgers 🍔 and fries 🍟 😋
I've actually never tried Wendy's because we don't have one in the UK... definitely going to try it
We use to hv them in the UK, Hackney had 2.@@escapewiddev
We use to have them in the UK 🇬🇧 a long time ago before you were born, possibly
@@cleocudjoe8252 🤣🤣 not quite that long but almost 25yrs ago for sure in my area
This shows I hardly go out in the UK because there's actually a few but more in the South london area...
Now Jamaican government needs to focus on job creations, increasing wages etc so that everyone can have a choice to shop in these stores. If that doesn't happen long term then they won't get enough customers to stay afloat as a business , risk closing down and job losses for staff members. Anyway, I am happy to see this establishment in Jamaica and it is next to my beautiful parish Trelawney. When I go to Jamaica I must shop there. Thank you for posting!
I agree with you 100%. Although, being in Jamaica and observing, there are plenty of opportunities for people out here to get a trade and actually work good money. Example construction is always keeping in Jamaica, and the challenge to find trades men is crazy. That's just one example. So there's opportunities for people to learn a skill and become their own entrepreneur. I think HEART/NSTA has free courses for this as well. However, the reason these businesses may survive is because you have a lot of people returning home, and some are starting businesses out here, so they are able to maintain this lifestyle... but I agree more needs to be done. 🥰🙏🏽
Please go to the store that mom bought the sectional .at 12 ward ave.could do tour of singer and couts also thanks I just love our grandma
Most definitely, we will go and do a mini tour of other stores such as treasure box and courts.
You have the first one in ligunea, sovereign ligunea, sovereign center on the boulevard and sovereign north in kingston and sovereign village in portmore then this 5th one in Mandeville all owned by the loshusan family. I heard crocs and subways sandwiches will have stores there. I also taught they would have a large food court like the other sovereigns. Also this sovereign will have the first escalator in Mandeville.
Nice... thanks for highlighting where else they are for others that may be interested because its a really nice development. It's not completed yet, but I hope the stores that go in there make sense 🙈 because some things are just overwhelming in Mandeville. Mandeville needs more entertainment spots.
Great video, positive reflection of Jamaicans and Jamaica …. You said Fabulosa is not available in the Uk but it is …. I buy it all the time 👍🏾👍🏾❤️
Thank you 🙏🏽🥰 where abouts do you purchase it, because whenever I'm in the UK, I'd love to buy some instead of packing them to carry with me, lol🙈
@@escapewiddev I get mine from B&M , Home bargains, even Poundland, sometimes you see it in Aldi, it will be so much cheaper here. They now have other items such cleaning and hygiene products. Good luck with the move sounds exciting !!
Thank you... I didn't know that because I've never seen it pound land. Unless my poundland doesn't have it but next time I'm in London I'll definitely look out for it.
You know am here saying to my self all who want to underestimate Jamaica let them stay there and talk Jamaica is developing rapidly under the quiat ❤🇯🇲
It's all American stuff in this supermarket fabulous is make in NY
A lot of these things are imported for sure we don't have fabulous in the UK.
We went to store in Mandeville 2!years ago to get Strawberry and My 7 year daughter asked ‘Mom will the ygive us the rest of the strawberries at the checkout?’
I laughed so hard, explaining the context to her… she couldn’t understand why they don’t have the boxes with grapes and strawberries!
She loved bag juice though.. and ask the supermarket here in the US if they gave it!
😅😅😅😅 omg, I laughed. Your daughter definitely has a right to ask because I can not believe just 4 strawberries. Fruits are definitely better in the UK because we get more for the money... but fruits in the market or with the guys on the roads selling fruits is good. Your daughter is cute bless you both🙏🏽🙏🏽🥰
Irish Moss Suppligen wow. Guess I'll try it on my trip in July
I know, right? lol imma try all of them because I'm curious...
Lol yes you should try them all
When people get too friendly, am always suspicious of intentions, been around long time so am cautious.
I know what you mean 😩😩😩 that's why I'm anti social... I'm trying to be a little more open but then I hear people's experiences and I'm like nope lol
Hi, I think it's called the Sovereign Centre. Progressive look nice. Shopping Jamaica expensive 🤦🏽♀️. Love your videos. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Yea, that's the name of it... it can be expensive but there are some wholesale supermarkets that are a lot cheaper... somethings I would recommend shipping tho... 🥰🙏🏽 blessings to you
@@escapewiddev Hi, which wholesale? I usually do Shopper's Fair or Mega.
There's a wholesale supermarket called MasterMac, just opposite the post office and tax office. Not too far from progressive.
My fav grocery store
Its really lovely 😁💪🏾
How can you shop without a list. oh wow. nice tour.
Lool kinda had an idea what we needed...
Be friendly ,but stay focused, dont be distracted by smiles and things. keep your head with you, just saying.
I agree ‼️‼️
I thought you were comparing the cost of produces.
jamaica have everything no problem.
Jamaica is stepping up for sure 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
"American apples" are yuck, no taste whatsoever and no comparison to the apples grown in Jamaica
Omg, same for the UK, no taste, and they rot really quickly. Love me some Jamaican apples. Now you've said that I need to get some when I'm shopping again.
@@escapewiddev you can get Jamaican apples in the UK?
Nooooo they should tho
@escapewiddev ah okay.
I have 2 trees here in Florida, but they haven't produced fruits as yet.
The one down in Miami produces fruit.
All now they haven't fixed that road, jeez
🙈🙈🙈 no... I'm curious to see what stores will be going into the shopping centre... I'm praying no more bars and if there's even a bar/ restaurant that it's a real nice one...
Progressive foods is bloody expensive I shop at champion when I'm out there
It is on the pricey side... wouldn't be my everyday shop...
