Danny, as soon as I saw the crab cake I said to myself "frozen out of a box." Will not have much taste to it. They tried to dress it up but it's low quality like Circus Circus or the Luxor buffet. The Steak Diane looked pretty good but wasn't medium rare. The potatoes we used to have them in my college dorm-mashed the first night and the leftovers were baked in a cake pan with cheese on the second night. Looked the exact same. You will be dying to go to Chinatown when you get back to NY!! Thanks for the always interesting videos!!
I remember those bed. When we first came to San Francisco I slept in a bed make up from 3 pieces of lumber. They heat the bread too many times that why it was hard. Coffee and tea is included in the dining room .
It's nice to see you eat vegetables. You know vegetables aren't so bad! Especially in a restaurant. They work their tricks making the veggies taste good. Secret is butter.
DANNY THE MEDIC- Steak Diane was VERY popular in the 1960’s until the 1990’s you could find it in a lot of restaurants now it’s very rare to find so count yourself lucky 🍀 ❤
@@dannythemedic YES I looked up the ingredients of what the sauce is on Steak Diane and it is a mix of Brandy, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, vinegar, and molasses very little else it should not have tasted like french onion soup, which makes me think they made it from the previous day's soup!!!!
When I saw the crab cake I knew it was going to be a filler cake. The kitchen staff said "sir, you haven't finished your french onion soup". Asians tend to believe sleeping on the floor to be good for your back and it's easy storage.
When I went to Rome, the beds tend to sit low and firm. Consist of a wood plank with a mattress. The thickness of the mattress is based on the hotel. 😊
Is it true that you have to pay for breakfast in the dining room and do they charge you for coffee and tea and the dining room as well? I was supposed to be cruising on this ship in October and I’m not liking when I’m hearing about this ship you can’t bring water or soda if you buy a soda package, both people in the cabin has to have a sort of package. I hear to keep the refrigerator locked. Cousin might cause that night when I got hungry. I will have a snack because I bought it from the buffet and I will put it in the refrigerator.
Everything looked good this time. Also on the second page of the menu - there was a section with no prices. Were you allowed to order them for free too?
Never heard of a cruise line charging extra for a diet-specific meal. I see a lot of stories where people ask specifically for gluten free, vegan, etc. and the dining staff seem happy to accommodate. With that said, I do get that something like kosher and halal foods is different than asking for gluten free, but charging for it (I'm assuming that if they charge for kosher, they'll charge for halal) seems pretty nickel and dimey. Maybe that's an MSC thing.
I am lactose intolerant, but I will throw down on a cheesecake, the only thing I won't eat is dairy ice cream. But Ben & Jerry have the non-dairy thing going on.
those crab cakes are absolutely LOADED with filler!! I could have saved you the aggravation. And a truly good steak doesn't need all that gravy or anything whatsoever.
Dear Danny, if you've ever been to Germany, you wouldn't like their bread. It's very crusty like the one you had the other day. It scrapes the roof of your mouth. But... They're supposed to be a hard roll, it's normal... The Steak Diane at The Cheesecake Factory restaurant is delicious. Bites of steak with Madeira sauce. And the cheesecake at their restaurant, so many to choose from. But I tend to like the plain ones. If you go to The Cheesecake Factory be sure to tell them you only want their brown bread. Their white one is too crusty for you. I don't like their white one very much either, it hurts my jaw, and it scrapes the roof of my mouth.... And if you go to Red Lobster again, try the white chocolate cheesecake, it was so good. Not too dense, creamy and delicious. I don't like white chocolate much, but it doesn't taste like it... Take care!
You order Steak Dianne and chef Lisa cooks the steak, that's a false advertising or bait and switch. I don't care if Dianne is out sick today, you get a different Dianne to cook my steak.
Your food fare was slightly better then last night but not very impressive. So far the food served on this cruise line is a not as good as the other four lines I have travelled with. Surprised you could not get coffee with your meal?
i dont know if they charge for coffee... but I asked the guy in the beginning what beverage was free, he did not say coffee.. so it is possible they dont have coffee at all!

Danny u are the best! Listening to your description of the beds and the pillows like sandbags had me dying! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I should go on that cruise to lose weight.
Thanks for battling the high seas for us all!
aye .. arrrrrr

I have been on many cruises and the coffee has always been free in every dining room.
I mean like, I asked the guy right in the beginning what drinks are free... I hope he didnt omit coffee for some reason!
Of course coffee is free 😂
The hunt for crab in the stuffing cake was awesome!
It's nice to see you eat vegetables. You know vegetables aren't so bad! Especially in a restaurant. They work their tricks making the veggies taste good. Secret is butter.
Steak Diane is called that for the sauce, which is made of cream, Worcestershire, and brandy...and sometimes mushrooms.
Danny living the life of Riley. Great job
You should try the lobster. The other one was warm water. Today is cold water.
That meal looks better, than the lobster meal all together last night.😊

but from the other comments, my steak diane was not made the same way...

Chuck Norris counted to infinity twice! Have a great cruise.
Don't pay extra if you don't have to. Your cruise is looking pretty good!

Curious! Is it cold on the ship. You have your winter vest on.
Every Italian restaurant has this dish. 😊 Basically steak with gravy. Usually very tender and favorable. 😊
Excellent review!
Thanks for watching
Sauce on steak looked like leftover French onion soup!😂
Oops I wrote this before u mentioned the soup!😊
a “stuffing” cake. 😂
You make the best videos… so good you are turning me into a cheap SOB 😂
Maybe the Sea Air makes the bread go stale quick...
Nice looking steak on the Meelaweeega. I agree don't pay extra for anything.
No coffee in the dining room? That’s wrong! Especially if you’re having cheesecake!😡😡😡
Food and falling with Danny the Medic.

as far as I understand, if there is no price on the menu, it is included.
The name of the restaurant in English is the golden olive.
ohhh

After all your videos I wouldn't be booking a trip on this cruise line.
Danny the Medic, ask the steward for a mattress topper. It may help.
Hi Dan
BS on extra charge 😮
Grab yourself some fruit and a Danish to take to the room as a snack.😊
I recommend the Steak Diane at Cheesecake Factory

Is room service open that early?
The only thing that would make me upset is the photo guys all of them would get a “no thanks “ from me!!
they were very polite, none of them were doing any "hard sales".

🤠🤠🤠❤❤❤
Danny was the food you ate free or did you have to pay for each meal? :) Thanks...
I ONLY ate the free food, Danny The Medic DONT PAY EXTRA!
but once in a long while I may find myself paying extra, but I will say so explicitly
Poor Danny MSC foods not treating you well.😢

The food on MSC looks really bad but NCL was not much better.
That is not Steak Diane, look it up online. So the beds are like prison beds? I will be skipping MSC.
Danny-make a sandwich and take it to your room for a snack.
🤣🥩
