- When we came up with the idea of doing Eric's Heroes a while back... THIS was the kind of story we were thinking about. It is a story about community and grace, and we are very proud to tell it.

I keep these videos handy because they pick me up instantly when I'm having a bad day. Will's birthday party was AMAZING! A spontaneous gesture of love that lured everyone out from behind their doors and windows, and into the open arena of life. They brought gifts for Will on his birthday, but they all went home later with an even bigger gift FROM Will - they will see their neighbors in a different light now, a light which is fuelled by the love and energy that Will pours into their small community. And let's not forget Becca who realized Will's incredible value to the community they all live in. Becca drew Will out of the shadows and installed him at her drive-thru coffee stand where he greets every customer with the biggest, most charming smile he can muster. I wish I knew Will personally, but for now I can feel his genuine love of people and life and that makes my day!

You can see the goodness in his eyes and smile. I'm happy he has people who care. He is awesome!

I know a person just like Will his name is Bob. They see the world through rose colored glasses. They have an intelligence that is more than any person even one with a Phd. Thank you Beca for being so smart and great to Will. May you be blessed many times over for having such a good heart.
