I have a 05 mariner premier and by God it's the best car I've ever driven. 208,000 miles and still moves like she's straight from the factory not to mention you don't see many in the ruby red anymore. She's a power house and has been thru hell and back with me truly a luxury offroad vehicle. Mercury will forever be in my heart and Betsy will forever be my car. Whatever happens I'm keeping this car till I die no matter the price
I love the mariners and escapes. I have a 06 mariner hybrid with 173k miles. They’re the best. They’re so comfortable and I will keep it as long as I can.
I have the 07 3.0 premier, great vehicle.only issue I had was the rusted through frame in rear, wasn't about to get rid of it,I had it fixed then took it to "rust check" stopped the rust throughout. 113k miles, had an 05 which had 350k on it and still ran like new. rust check all of these models, it is worth it. I did the same to my old 70 f250, never rusted.
Love my 06 hybrid. Has 173k and I had a 05 escape v6 and I drove the 05 escape hybrid and they drove differently. The mariner hybrid drives much smoother than the escape hybrid.
I have a 2006 Mariner premier.. Awesome car just reaching 273,00 miles...Great car bought it new still going strong..looking to get 300 k then i might consider another new car...
VBSource I bought one for $2,100. It's not perfect, but it gets me anywhere I need to be without a problem. The interior of mine is in great shape. The exterior is decent with a few scratches, and dents. But overall a great vehicle. Mine had 211,000 miles when I bought it. Now it has 217,000! Very reliable.
@@briceburnside1337 I purchased a 2006 Mariner Premier edition back in December of 2015, it had 50,000 miles on it and now it has 95,000 miles and its running great. Only issue I had was a leaking oil pan gasket which happened at the 75,000 mark (my 2001 Escape had the same issue) and about two weeks back had to change the drivers side axle as the tone ring cracked and that's about it. I had a 2001 Escape that got me to 198,000 miles and they were hard miles, mostly driving to New York City to work with it so, this brand has worked out well for me. (The Escape was an XLS with 4WD which I purchased brand new).

I am a Mariner lover, I don't own one, but we have a Mariner in my family. I would love to own a Mariner some day. Mariners are awesome cars
Nice Merc. Please upload every Motorweek episode about Ford-Lincoln-Mercury you got! I've seen many on this channel. Thanks for sharing it.

Sad to think Mercury never made it to 2024. I can picture Mercury looking awesome in the 2010s, and 2020s.

Just sold ours - 210,000 miles.
The Specter of Death was looming over it.
love mercury cars their so nice
Badge engineering at its finest. Truthfully though, I like the looks and interior of this better
I like Mariner Hybrid in "Kiwi" green metalic.
My 2005 escape is titanium green clearcoat.
I love it, but the leather makes it hard to make hard turns without sliding everywhere
No kidding, they are so cheap on craigslist
Why is the front of the vehicle also bunched up? It looks all uneven
LOL! HA! Suckers. Trim is cheap plastic. They are right about turning though, its great in a tight space.
@SnilekHonzik ewww
(2015) don't buy this car if it has over 40k miles! I own one and it's awful! mine is 4WD V6 Premier Black/Black. Dreaming the day I get rid of it!
