Yeah man, I asked for some phos bronze rods but mate said to try this instead. I do so little cast iron that I don’t want to fork out for a whole pack!

You can just about make out his legs going in just before me man lol. Does look weird though, I don’t keep him in there. I’m lucky to have this at the end of the garden mate! 30 minutes here and there.

Nice job i braze cast when I repair it and then put in kiln dried sand and it slows the cooling process
