YOOOO, IT'S MY BARYONYX MOD. MOM GET THE CAMERA!! This is so cool! Ty for showing off the mod! Plus a whole bunch of other custom-painted skins + the CC ones too.
@@DeviljWheat I was hoping some of the mod makers would comment! You did a fantastic job! The proportions and overall scale of the model looks amazing!
8:42 I grew up (partially) in Flagstaff AZ. The Museum of Northern Arizona has a Dilophosaurus on display. I was also a huge Jurassic fan as a kid, so when I saw it I really had to double take. When I read the book, it made so much more sense.
Accurate Spino actually is paleo art brought into the game. Spinosaurus from this mod has a lot of skins inspired by famous arts, such as Todd Marshall Spino (yellow and blue one)
3:42 Actually my guy, these osteoderms should be inside the skin, the Ceratosaurus osteoderms don't work like the Crocs osteoderms, they work more like the Ground sloth osteoderms (yeah, mammals with osteoderms? yes), hidden inside the skin and barely to not noticeable, so there's a flaw in that reconstruction.
@@DinoGuy8 Sure my guy! You can fin the source here "Osteology of the carnivorous Dinosauria in the United State National museum: with special reference to the genera Antrodemus (Allosaurus) and Ceratosaurus (No. 110) (1920)" Pdta: Apparently YT deleted my comment.
Thank you very much! So I did some additional reading alongside that and I find that the most sound conclusion is this: there is very little skeletal material of Ceratosaurus known. And, there has been very little analysis done on the present osteoderms. It seems that the best conclusions are that the osteoderms present on the midline of the animals back would start from the base of its skull and move all the way down to the tail. And it seems likely that these osteoderms would have been visible as either “lumps”, scutes, or simply structures covered in keratin. The position in which they were found was far enough from the vertebrae to account for muscles and skin, likely implying that these structures specifically were a bit more pronounced. Now, what’s notable, is that there are additional osteoderms known. What isn’t known, is their placement. They are a bit more plate-like in shape and could have been less visible. However, again, very little is truly known. I do agree that they likely wouldn’t have been exposed bone. But I do think it’s unlikely they were completely hidden.
"Cretaceous Calamity" I remember when that was going to be a huge Zoo Tycoon 2 mod. At one point, a picture of the themed restroom was released and people started calling it the "CCrapper". I name all of my restrooms in JWE "Cretaceous Crappers" as a reference to this ancient ZT2 project.
fun fact in jp before dennis ends up dieing to the small diloim pretty sure he says "your not one of the big ones" which would make sense on why it was so small, for the domminion movie i wanna say the reason there was so many small dilo's was more of the fact that their were starting im not sure for how long but i wanna say that they made the dilo's not to long ago but long enough to let them roam and survive on their own and to which when we see them thats why their so small like the original
He’s says “thankfully you’re not one of your big brothers” and, as the novel reveals, Dennis knows nothing about dinosaurs, so it’s likely he’s just referring to larger dinosaurs in general, not a larger dilo
@Justaguy-rp4wv the movie was severely different from the novel, not to mention that im pretty sure it wouldnt be hard to tell if a dilophosaurus was half the size of its adult counter part, its almost saying you wouldnt tell the height of a baby hippo next to a adult
@Justaguy-rp4wv also all carnivores have different enclosures i doubt he knew that they broke out at the time Also the idea of that if ye sall a 8 ft lizard with the ability to shoot venom you'd be shitting yourself but the fact of the idea "its a juvenile" that could mean he knew the idea that if she's a juvie that means she might not be able to do it yet it would basic kinda logic if ye didnt know anything about dinosaur besides 1 or 2 facts
@@zillorannusgaming If you didn't know what an adult hippo (or dinosaur) looked like at all, then how would you be able to tell you're looking at a baby?
Because Centrosaurus and Styracosaurus are related to each other. There are 2 main groups within Ceratopsids. The Chasmosaurines, and the Centrosaurines. Both Centrosaurus and Styracosaurus are Centrosaurine Ceratopsids.

i doubt it. those games are at a weird place in time where i find fans want more real depictions, yet the brand is in an awkward place where they gotta keep things ... jurassic park. making things accurate just kills the franchise, so to speak.
@@svperstar I don't think it'll kill the franchise. In fact, a lot of people loved the Utahraptor, Sinosauropteryx, and Gigantoraptor's designs in JWE2. I still hope that accurate dinosaurs will make as big of an impact as the inaccurate counterparts in JWE3.

great video, just want to say though that Spinosaurus in the patreon part of the outro has a typo that makes it say "spionosaurus" just saying incase the screen gets used in the future it may be misspelled
As much as these mods change the appearance, they can't change the animations. They're iconic movements, for weird reptilian monsters, and that's what firmly settles them for me within the JP/JW franchise. To be clear, it's incredibly detailed work and feels very lifelike but the animations don't make me think of multi-ton animals. They are too active, too jiggly, and make strange poses
Yeah, would love it if they changed the sounds and animations for some creatures if they could. As beautiful as the Dilophosaurus model is, it looked quite goofy when it was running (this doesn't at all take away the fact that all of these models are fantastic looking). Though, I could be asking for too much, as I don't really know the limits of JWE modding tbh 😅
i think the awkward stance of the JWE dilophosaurus is the developers taking the posture it takes in JP to be the animal's default stance and not just it raising it's head to investigate nedry. strange choice.
Not all of these are what I'd call accurate designs (the Spino is way too small and looks shrinkwrapped, Sino is a bit too slim and Cerato is simply just not accurate) but the models look great, especially the T.rex.
Wasn't there a paper a few years back that suggested that Comsognathids were juvenile Charcaradontosaurs? I know that isn't exactly proof, but it certainly opens the possibility Giganotosaurus could have had feathers, unless that paper has been debunked, and I simply haven't heard of it yet.
Why movies feel that they gotta change creatures up, instead of making them look realistic is beyond me. Realism will always be better looking, and when it comes to horror, thriller and just in general, realism hits way harder.
A lot of the dinos in the movies were accurate for the research available at the time, but also the whole point of the movies is that they’re all hybrids and not real dinosaurs. The original carnotaurus design from a game they were gonna make blatantly looked like a chameleon on a dinosaur’s body + could camouflage a bit like the indominus could. I love these mods and will probably use most of them, buts it’s important to understand the context of the movies when criticising their accuracy. Personally I think they should’ve leaned more into the hybrid nature like they did with dilophosaurus and the scrapped carnotaurus design. It would’ve been cool to be kind of able to guess which irl animal dna they used for each dinosaur. It would’ve also make the dinos more obviously inaccurate so people wouldn’t take the Jurassic depictions as fact Also I kind of disagree with realism hitting harder in horror. I think having more clearly hybrid animals could be more scary in a way, both being familiar yet also unfamiliar, and also just the body horror of having recognisable features of animals we know deformed onto a body that isn’t made for those features, (a bit like Frankenstein’s monster in a way, mismatched). I personally think that would be a lot more disturbing than just an accurate dinosaur (which kind of feels out of place in a way) I know I keep going back to the carnotaurus design but I think they really nailed that part of it, when I saw the picture of it it felt like looking at a monstrosity of science, something that’s should’ve never existed.
How accurate is that carch because of the feathers, arm length and meraxes toe claw he gave it? We're getting that exact same model as a path of titans but im curious if it's the most recent depiction accuracy wise. Is the prehistoric kingdom version more accurate?
El reptileano mod is based off of Dan folks skeletal I think it could have a longer and more robust tail though it's still more accurate than the prehistoric kingdom carch
It probably didn't have feathers, although a thin coating is technically not out of the question for ANY scaly dinosaur, so it's not impossible either. I dunno about anything else in the depiction.
@@catpoke9557 Didn't have feathers but if he's going to keep it I feel they should be smaller and less noticeable unless you really zoom in like the prehistoric planet T-Rex has. Instead of the normal equal toe claws he also gave it a larger meraxes toe claw on the end of the inner most toes which I heard might be speculated for other carcharodontosaurs but still hasn't been found on anything other than meraxes currently far as I know so if carch didn't actually have it that makes it a little off putting to look at. Repti did confirm and show the three subspecies the carch mod would get but the other two only removed the feathers and changed the head slightly, the arms and larger toe claws are unchanged
it's jurassic park. i dont need scientifically accurate dinosaurs in a jurassic park game. i need dinosaurs with the iconic designs from the movies in my jurassic park game
I know this is out of contents but can you make an ecosystem in Jurassic World evolution Two you can use mods and the game models if you want to do it?
elreptileano6146's mods and HockAL1215's mods are incredible, yet I'm very conflicted about what do people want and what I want. Yes, I'd like some redesigns of dinosaurs from the Jurassic movies and games, yet there's some I'm good with. I've never been big on mods mostly because they're just a cosmetic and I can't access them on my game console. I'm a bit tired of the comparison like does anyone appreciate them, is the Jurassic franchise an embarrassment in terms of dinosaur designs. Sure, the raptors and Dilophosaurus are one thing, yet I have no problem with Sinoceratops because I never heard of it till Fallen Kingdom and I can't remember if I looked at what it really looks like. I like the hippo vibe, and I use that a lot more than Triceratops and somehow the accurate look takes that away. Prehistoric Kingdom has some great looks, yet I have some mixed thoughts maybe because I'm used to what I know how some looked like before this. Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus look awesome and I'm not sure how I feel about Camarasaurus or the yet to come Stegosaurus. I can't play this game and all the more makes me wish more designs were like that for the Jurassic franchise. I don't know what are we to do?
I love JWE2, but there are some models that I absolutely despise. Dilophosaurus, Deinonychus, Acrocanthosaurus, and Baryonyx are the worst in the game (not counting the obviously fictional hybrids, some of which I actually like).
JP 1993 is my favorite movie, but I've really grown tired of how terribly inaccurate all the JP sequels continue to be. I get that they're not 100% dinosaurs, but they've become so over the top silly looking. These mods in this game look great!

Repti did confirm and show the three subspecies the carch mod would get but the other two only removed the feathers and changed the head slightly, the arms and larger toe claws are unchanged
Ngl the colours on the sinoceratops look better on the accurate sino then inaccurate sino
The Tyrannosaurus is quite realistic 🦖
Can you please do Many Interpretations of Troodon.
I have no idea what the crimson chin from fairly odd parents is. 🤔
Honestly. I love it!
Don't they now think the T-Rex had lips?
t rex tail might be too beefy. would be a problem for leg muscles.
Your not alone
it's jurassic park. i dont need scientifically accurate dinosaurs in a jurassic park game. i need dinosaurs with the iconic designs from the movies in my jurassic park game
@@DejiDigital great! These are just mods.
I wish Frontier would do this
W video as always
W Gameplay Video
Can you please make a tutorial on how to download these?
I know this is out of contents but can you make an ecosystem in Jurassic World evolution Two you can use mods and the game models if you want to do it?
is it just me or does the bottom jaw of the T-rex look too wide? It looks kind of goofy to me
Didn't the trex most likely have feathers?
wouldnt accurate dinosaurs have feathers though?
elreptileano6146's mods and HockAL1215's mods are incredible, yet I'm very conflicted about what do people want and what I want.
Is this on Xbox?
Bro I clicked on this video expecting feathers :(
So its bassicly prehistoric kingsom with worse terraining? OK.
I follow you on tiktok
I need realistic Acrocanthosaurus
Can you get this for ps4?????🎉🎉🎉
I don't like that some of these are replacments
Can we all agree on that prehistoric kingdom have the most realistic dinosuars of enny game.
Love the Spinosaurus aswell as the Rex! Couldnt resist making videos of them
#DinoGuy8 while not like the DPG website design, the Baryonyx is just as far from the _official_ JW design.
I hate how their chests sag as they walk wtf!
Carcharadontosaurus looks so much better, i did not like the JWE model at all
at this point buy prehistoric kingdom
