For centuries, the greatest sailors in the world masterfully navigated the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, 3,000 years ago, their voyages stopped for a millennium - and no one knows exactly why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who is inspired to leave the safety and security of her island on a daring journey to save her people. Inexplicably drawn to the ocean, Moana (voice of Auliʻi Cravalho) convinces the mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson) to join her mission, and he reluctantly helps her become a wayfinder like her ancestors who sailed before her. Together, they voyage across the open ocean on an action-packed adventure, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills her quest and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”), produced by Osnat Shurer (“Lifted,” “One Man Band”), and featuring music by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa‘i, “Moana” sailed into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016.

AshalyAMVgirl XD
AshalyAMVgirl what are you, an alto? Because I am too, and the range isn't that hard with this song. A lot Moana's songs don't require soprano voicing.
+Leapingriver actually I'm a tenar
The I am Moana bit was sooo powerful!

“I am Moana!”
Me, a gross snotty and tearful mess: **sobbing** “yeS! yES YOU ARE!“
SAME
what?!?
This is for any person that cares about these movies but for me and this particular song at this spot was where I cried the most because the fact that this movie brought more of the attention
DEADASS me in the theaters 😭
EVERYTIME 😭😭😭😭😭
"And the call isn't out there at all; it's inside me!"
Heart skips a beat, every dang time.
When I watch the video I get chill every time
EVERY FREAKING TIME
I'm not crying, you're crying!
Ohh, that's what it says
"its like the tide's always f##king rising"
The grandmother reminded me so much of grandmother willow from Pocahontas.
This song is so great and touching
Yeah...animated Disney films tend to recycle the supporting characters.
Pocahontas + Lilo & Stitch = Moana
twist58 Yas! Coz Moana means family and no one gets left behind.
Moana does not mean Family, Ohana means Family.
Moana is the mall in waikiki
The grandma is my favorite character already.
She's just the village crazy lady haha
This is why I love Disney, many reasons for that but one thing I love them for especially is for how they make old woman (Grandmother Willow and Grandmother Fa to name a couple) and horses Khan, Samson to name a couple) as they alway tend to be amazing characters.
Aja Douglas you have seen Moana already?
TheLostLenore Wait, won't it be released tomorrow, only?
Aja Douglas I am so anxious!!!!
This song was the moment that Moana became a classic for me. The raw power and heart in Auli'i Cravalho's voice was just mesmerizing. Bravo on her part.
Mr. Theta ii
It’s called lots of auto tune! Have you ever heard her live? 😬😬
She sings good without auto tune. You can’t do any better you’re just sitting behind a screen talking bad about her. Get a life
There's a video where before she's cast, the director(Same creator/writer/director of Little Mermaid and Aladdin) says to her: "Now is there any way that you could be... even happier?" "How about this, try imagining... like you just got the part."
I love how the repeated phrase and theme of this movie is "who you are." This movie is so meaningful to all sorts of girls of all cultures across the world because it shows them they don't have to always be what people think they "should" be, it gives girls a sense that they can be anyone and can go any path and still have the potential to do amazing things.
Funny, because everyone has something to take from this great movie.
I really like that Moana is a relatable character
As long as you're chosen by the God of the ocean to go on an epic quest, you mean.
As a boy, this movie still inspires me so much.
😭😭😍😍
I cried for the whole film. It was so amazing how accurately Disney portrayed my people. I cried for every song and every scene because I was so proud of my heritage and so grateful it was so well represented
BChillin I was afraid the haoles were going to ruin the legend
Funny, they picked little bits and pieces of every island nation's cultures. Samoan ceremonial clothes, Tahitian singing, Hawaiian dances etc. etc....
Api Tuia I don't think any of the songs were in Tahitian. Just Tokelauan, Tuvaluan and Samoan. But yeah I totally agree #PolyMovement
Api Tuia I don't know maybe there is in the movie I haven't seen it yet only going by the songs on the soundtrack 😊
Me too! I was so grateful that they portrayed this culture this way. As powerful and strong as we've always been. Even though I am only part Polynesian, Hawaiian, and Asian, it was beautifully executed and I was soooooo proud of this movie as well!
It is an honor to have seen this beautiful piece of art in theaters.
And then you try watch it at home and get instantly disappointed with the sub par audio system you have to listen with. Nothing beats watching these in theaters
well that sucks because in my country you can only watch the synchronized version in the cinema and there is no original cast version until the DVD release >:(
where do you live if you get a andriod kodi you can watch online movies from all around the world and their good copies you can also watch movies from the cinemas without going to the cinema
Leilah Hawira Why would I want to do that?
Christina White so true. 👏🏼🤗
I can't believe it's been 5 years and this song and movie only get better with age. It's starting to feel like a nostalgic trip.
welcome back
This particular song always makes me cry because I love how Moana's grandmother doesn't fix anything to make this journey easier for her but rather offers her some reassurance and makes her think about why she has chosen to go on this journey and who's she doing it for.
i cried in the theater.
She came back as the stingray!
i cryied 3 tiems
AntisocialWeirdo I know 😭
AntisocialWeirdo me too, I cried aswell
AntisocialWeirdo I cried so much people were staring at me because I was ugly crying with the whale noises included
AntisocialWeirdo it wasn't a stingray
One thing that I absolutely love about Moana is the voice actress! I love that her singing voice isn't super fancy or high. It's clear and pure. It's so beautiful and relatable 😊
yes i love it too!!
Iamhlee Euv Her voice is so pretty!
Yes, it's so easy to sing along with!
Love for the Altos of disney
100000% agree! her voice is impressive in a different way from like elsa''s in frozen. moana''s voice is lovely and doesn't push towards grand high notes to sound good.
This song empowered me as a female. Which was impressive because I'm a 30 year old man.
Lol 😂
Well that took an unexpected turn
Dont be transphobic xD
Zero Fox well in the "religion" of maori and/or the faith of native americans, yoz actually have an inner female and an inner male. Everyone has that, and it is up to you to make them grow side by side instead of empowering one for the other. So, this basically brought you balance :)
Zero Fox. I feel you dude
I absolutely adore the lyrics to this short song. "Always falling and rising" is brilliant. Most writers would have ended it with "rising and falling," but that is symbolic of the fact that we fall and THEN we RISE. Such a positive and hopeful lyric. Another part I adore is how she will carry her grandmother with her. Love these brilliant words and how inspiring they are!!!
Not to mention that at "always falling" the melody fell and rose right after at "and rising". This song is just brilliant.
always fokin rising

This reminds me so much of The Lion King, especially with the choir at the end. It's like something straight out of my childhood. Good job Disney
Who? Hans Zimmer scored The Lion King, and Tim Rice and Elton John did the songs and lyrics. I can't find anything about Hans Zimmer working on Moana, nor can I find anything about anyone who worked on the music of Moana working on The Lion King. Mark Mancina helped to score both Tarzan and Brother Bear though, which I can definitely hear as I listen.
Thank You!
but Lin Manuel Miranda Is an amazing writer and director of music so it's going well.
No it isn't.. The Lion king was scored by Hans Zimmer.. and the songs were written by Elton John and Tim Rice and the composer and songwriters for this film are listed in the video above.
ibanezman04 Mark Mancina who worked on Moana worked on the Lion King musical. I think that's what everyone is getting confused.
... Lin worked on the songs guys...
Am I the ONLY one who gets more chills at the "I know the way" line rather than the following "I am Moana"? Please tell me I'm not. I love that line so, so much.
I get chills right AFTER she says I am Moana. Something about the tribal singing in the background is so moving!
matcha bean Fdd qq
I got more chills at "and the call isn't out there at all, it's inside me."
I get chills once Tala starts singing.
I agree. "And the call isn't out there at all, it's inside me" is the best line. It's like saying that it's not some external power that drives her, but rather something inside. Her own heart, power of will. I like that best.
As a girl who lost my grandma (who was like a second mom), this scene hits every time. The grandma gets me so much.
Same my gramma was always my biggest supporter and even if I did something wrong she would say stuff like I’m your dads mum I don’t have to tell him anything ❤❤❤ eveytime I hear this it’s like hearing her voice tell me you’re gonna be okay honey
So I was adopted as a child. I never knew my nationality.
I found that I’m Native American. I’m Tlingit, being drawn to the water and ocean made sense suddenly.
This song hits me hard because it’s not just my ancestors, but me too.
I could feel the call.
As one Native American to another, I envy you having a Native American name. My great great grandma was a peogressive. She was willing to abandon all of our ways to fit in with the whites. She even punished ny Great Grandma for having an indian accent. Therefore, I never got a Native American name. Neither did my Great Grandma. But my name in American is just as good. Cadence, with means rhythm. And my middle name is Rain! My name might as well mean Rhythm of the Rain, if I were given a Native American name. Its fitting, since I do everything at my own rhythm and I love the rain and just water in general
that is a really cool story

THIS IS THE MOST INCREDIBLE THING IVE HEARD. TOTAL LION KING VIBES
The Disney Freak's Blog maybe that's because the music composer for this movie and the lion king are the same guy.
AJ Menon Hans Zimmer isn't composing music for this
The Disney Freak's Blog no. But lion king had two guys doing the score. one, the more famous one was has zimmer. The other one was a guy called mark mancina. he's scoring this one. .
No, it's because Lin-Manuel Miranda is an incredible song writer
mikaela cash I love him and don't disagree with that but the he worked with mark mancina on the background score. It wasn't just him . But lin oviously makes a difference.
The grandma made me want to cry
Nuyi Saolvie I couldn't handle it when me and my family watched in in the cinema, I bursted tears out and they stared at me xD RESPECT AND LOVE TALA
I was blubbering so much because my grandma died just over a year ago so I was just gone every time she came on screen hahahaha
Nuyi Saolvie me too couz my grandma died and this really relate to me.......we live in an island.....I'm just in the city for today and i love to go to the water and sail....but my parents don't want....my grandma she is the one who guide/teach me to sail but when my grandma died I am sent here in the city😭
Nuyi Saolvie their relationship is so beautiful
My condolences
This song makes me feel more empowered than any other song
Hannah Grace oh
My sister like this song
I'm a grown woman and this song always makes me cry without fail every time I hear it. The words are so empowering and meaningful. This song inspires me to take ownership of my past, my scars and my voice. It inspires pride in my ancestors' struggles in my country and what they went through to get me here, pride in everything I've learned and accomplished thus far. It inspires appreciation of those I have lost or burned bridges with along the way. And confidence in carving my own path and trusting my decisions.
To all the peoples of Oceania, to Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islanders, to Indonesians, Filipino/Filipina people, to the Polynesians, Micronesians, and Melanesians, I say stay strong and keep your cultures alive! Remember who you are...
yes :)
also I hope Indonesia will never lose our identity, sure modern and western lifestyle came and influenced many but we still keep our tradition :) most of the tribals still untouched some already exploit but that's how it work I guess
krnstrong yeah... and I hope the Papuan tribes are doing well too...
we wouldnt know 100% sure sure how they feel right?i mean tribes ppl some felt they're left behind by the govt etc, but at the same time they dont want to be bothered with modernization lol
and there will always be conflict and rebels (that's also why there's war btw the govt and rebels) but most of countries who still have origins ppl will have this kinda issue, but those rebels dont represent the whole papua ppl, many of them also happy to be part of Indonesia :)
they didn't really have a choice but to be part of indonesia did they?

If you think about it in this song she is actually singing I am the ocean because that is what her name means. Shook

I know a girl from an island
She stands apart from the crowd
She loves the sea and her people
She makes her whole family proud
Sometimes the world seems against you
The journey may leave a scar
But scars can heal and reveal just
Where you are
The people you love will change you
The things you have learned will guide you
And nothing on earth can silence
The quiet voice still inside you
And when that voice starts to whisper
Moana, you've come so far
Moana, listen
Do you know who you are?
Who am I?
I am a girl who loves my island
I'm the girl who loves the sea
It calls me
I am the daughter of the village chief
We are descended from voyagers
Who found their way across the world
They call me
I've delivered us to where we are
I have journeyed farther
I am everything I've learned and more
Still it calls me
And the call isn't out there at all, it's inside me
It's like the tide; always falling and rising
I will carry you here in my heart you'll remind me
That come what may

I'm a twenty nine year old man and every time I listen to her grandma sing and teaches how life can hard and difficult to deal with, especially when a person hurts your feelings, I automatically begin to cry! That part really speaks to me because my grandmother died a few years back, and listening to this song reminds me of all the love and affection that she showed to me and the rest of my family, so I have a real, heartfelt connection to this scene. I also love how Moana finally discovers just who she really is and that she is just herself. Man, I gotta whatcha this again on Disney plus again! Haven't seen it in a while.
Time I've gotten chills from a Disney movie: the opening theme of Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mufasa saying "remember who you are", and Moana finding her way in this song.
My dad and I always joke about how the producers were like, "Okay, let's kill off the grandma, but the chicken has got to stay."
AviaUnicornz sorry but the german version is much more better!❤️
Carolyn Girard she meant the german song version. And i have to admit it is
The chicken was hilarious :D
Personally I prefer this version of the song but the german one is pretty fantastic.
Gotmestartedtour de ooh there's a German version
AviaUnicornz I wish I could have a conversation with my parents
What I love most about fairy tales and animated movies is how much they teach us about ourselves.
They don't hide the harsh realities of life, they show us we're strong enough to deal with them. That we shouldn't give up, no matter what. That, as hard as it gets, we have to follow our heart.
It's beautiful.
My favorite part: "And the call isn't out there at all, it's inside me."
Oh god, now I'm crying! 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭
I am from Tahiti and the fact that we finally have the movie in Moana's native languages which is mine as well is Amazaing! Our elders who only speak Tahitian could watch the movie with us, it was so emotional and beautiful... Thanks Disney!
That is so beautiful and heart-warming! Much love from Australia! ❤️
My friends mom said that she didn't like the scenes with nothing in the background. I'm just there like "... They were in the middle of the ocean..."
Sammy Lee yup
how can we not appreciate how amazing the water was?
Nah they should've added some whales in the background xD
But seriously though, this is currently my favorite Disney movie because of animation and story, and I plan on rewatching it over and over :3
Ao Tora same I'll buy it on DVD.
I would totally buy it too but I hate the version they made in my country, the voice actors just don't fit D: And my dvd player on my laptop just broke too ;_;
I was blown away by this movie. Best Disney movie since Tangled. Phenomenal.
Yesss I watched it today and I cried. Mostly because it represents my culture.
TANGLED SUCKED

What about Zootopia? haha
I agree. I loved Tangled, too.
Moana finally realized why the ocean choose her. When Moana shout out her own name, she became powerful and realized that she can restore the heart of Te-fiti herself.
Nuh uh You toootalllyyy misinterpreted the actual meaning of the song. Moana STILL isn't sure why the Ocean chose HER at THIS point of the story ,but she is sure that whatever happens she will face it whether good, or bad .( Come what may .I know the way) She didn't know she could do it till the song "Know who you are"

has anyone else noticed HOW she actually finds her voice and realises who she IS? Auli'i begins singing quietly, like she's whispering and gradually gets louder and louder until she's practically shouting her name! Magical. Powerful...and very clever. :)
SiennaBenna X I think it's not Auli'l i think its another singer.. I'm a filipino and i know Janella Salvadors voice and i think its her pure voice i also think her voice was mixed on "how far i'll go" this only my suggestion that i think its Janella Salvador...
It's really not that clever.
SiennaBenna X the delayed horn blast is really what sells the climax of the song

I came from a family that survived poverty in three generations, gradually improving their state of life for their descendants. I'm in the fourth generation and I have everything my great grandparents and grandparents could've never thought of. I feel so lucky to live here even though that means I feel a greater responsibility to improve my life even further.

Honestly cannot get enough of this song. So powerful in so many ways. They nailed the point of the movie with this song.
While Elsa ran away from first world problems, Moana stood in front of a Lava Demon and did not flinch.
I don't know if we should call Elsa's problems "first world". She ran away because she was ashamed and disgusted with herself. Everyone thought she was a witch, which was punishable by death. Clearly there was a bounty on her head.
Randy Watson "clearly" nothing. That wasn't in the plot. The way it looks is she ran away cause she was too afraid of being different. Moana embraced it
What the hell do you mean "clearly nothing"?! Multiple people were perfectly happy with killing her.
Cause you're assuming. It was not written into the storyline, so it's not "clear" lol
but I'm not arguing with you over Disney LMAO.

I absolutely adore that the backing vocals after the "I am Moana" line sound a bit like:
"Yeah, you are! Yeah, you are! Yeah, you are and you're on your wayyyyy!"
Wow!! Here I am a year later and this I read right when I needed to!! You know this meant so much to me, to see/read now in this moment in time
Auli'i has an amazing voice!
It's really good considering this was her first movie and I don't think she did music before (at least not any that was released) (not trying to detract from how good it is, if anything, I'm praising her)

I can see this so much as a stage adaptation. I just imagine during this song when she references different parts of her journey a character from that part would light up in dim lighted dark blue lighting in the background. For example when she says "I am the daughter of the village chief" a light shines and stays on the chief in the background and then when she says "we are descended from voyagers" the islanders light up. It would continue to highlight tomatoa and maui and other added characters
When this movie came out, my grandmother had passed away only three months before hand. I was a mess watching this, but it was so beautiful.
Same here, my grandma had passed away 2 months before the movie came out in theaters and when I saw it I teared up a lot during this song in particular.
My grandmother just passed, but even though she was in the same room as me watching it, I cried so much because she was never able to talk to me quite like this. She lost her ability to speak from old age when I was five.

And nothing on earth can silence
The quiet voice still inside you
And when that voice starts to whisper
Moana you've come so far
Moana listen
Do you know who you are?
[Moana:]
Who am I?
I am a girl who loves my island
I'm the girl who loves the sea
It calls me
I am the daughter of the village chief
We are descended from voyagers
Who found their way across the world
They call me
I've delivered us to where we are
I have journeyed farther
I am everything I've learned and more
Still it calls me
And the call isn't out there at all, it's inside me
It's like the tide; always falling and rising
I will carry you here in my heart you'll remind me
That come what may
I know the way
I am Moana !
Awesome!
Auli seriously did so well in this film, her singing voice is beautiful and voice acting is just amazing
GirlOfFabuluosness Agreed!
Auli'i Cravalho KILLED IT as Moana! 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Totally awesomely right👍😀
GirlOfFabuluosness her voice like glued naturally, it doesnt slightly felt like a dubbing, like i believe moana sounded like that
CJ 83 I feel the same way, I couldn't picture any one else as the voice of Moana
I know right!! She has so much talent!
I think Moana is the most realistic female character that Disney have ever created. she looks good, the body language are amazing and her girly voice... perfect. no wonder I'm so addicted to this movie. WELL DONE DISNEY!
Ooo Grandma be having me in my feelings 😭
Her voice is just so soothing!
Ikr it still makes me cry to this day
I don't know how many times this movie made me cry :(
Maggie Chen made me cry 3 times because of the feels
Maggie Chen I almost cried like three times but my friend was with me and she would have made fun so I didn't.
Maggie Chen Like 15 minutes in I already had tears trickling down my cheeks. By the end I was bawling 😭😭😭
1) Cried when the grandma passed away and her spirit glided across the sea to moana
2) cried to this scene
3) cried at the ending when maui got moana tattooed on him
daphne paraz And when Maui left her.
I legitimately got chills. I love how this movie has very emotional and touching songs, like The Little Mermaid and Pocahontas.
Maybe it’s just me, but, the
“Who am I? I am the girl who loves my island, and the girl who loves the sea”
That pulls at my heart
[GRAMMA TALA]
I know a girl from an island
She stands apart from the crowd
She loves the sea and her people
She makes her whole family proud
Sometimes the world seems against you
The journey may leave a scar
But scars can heal and reveal just
Where you are
The people you love will change you
The things you have learned will guide you
And nothing on earth can silence
The quiet voice still inside you
And when that voice starts to whisper
Moana you've come so far
Moana listen
Do you know who you are?

Thanks for the lyrics !
You forgot to put in [EPIC AS FUCK CHOIR + ORCHESTRA] at the end
Nana: Do you know who you are?
Moana: .......... I'm Batman
dominic garcia +
I was waiting for this comment
Moana: _I am _*_BATMAAA~AAAN!_*
Congratulations! You win one internet!
With what the FCC did this MIGHT be worth more than you think in the future. HA!
honestly Moana was very underrated when it came out but it was so much better than other movies from the story it was trying to tell the animation and the BEAUTIFUL songs it really deserved a lot more attention that it got everything about the movie was just breath taking.
I know a girl from an island
She stands apart from the crowd:
Moana was already different from the villagers when she was just a child, enjoying the myths Gramma Tala would tell while all the other children were frightened. She was also curious about what the ocean held while everyone else was happy with being in the village
I'm not afraid to admit I've been obsessed with Moana songs for an entire week now lol
Mara Uana I cried :')
Mara Uana same *^* Love this movie so much lol cried when I saw it
I totally get it guys , it was the same for me. The movie was just amazing 💕
Mara Uana
SAMEEE
My mom has had We Know The Way and You're Welcome stuck in her head ever since we saw it together.
I already want a sequel and I just watched the movie yesterday XD
MagandaJeaya Jay holly jesus same xD!!!
MagandaJeaya Jay no, Disney movies like these aren't meant for sequels. I want moana to be preserved as an amazing movie. Sequels often ruin the franchise
JackBinger sometimes
They make sequels when the original staff is working in another project more fit.
Disney is not suposed to make sequels, just classics. The only Disney sequel which I can think as a good one was The Lion King 2... but even that ends like a low-quality garbage if you compare it with the original.
Sorry for my english btw, I keep practicing.
JackBinger I am also generally against sequels. However presumed that a Moana sequel were written by the same people as this one I'd be okay with it; I have a lot of faith in the writers of Moanas capabilities to create a quality sequel.
I like how a lot of the songs relating to the main character Moana have the same melody sound but it still works and sounds like it has a different meaning and lesson even. It's beautiful and feels real like they truly made up those songs for each other and for themselves suddenly in real life.
I liked how Moana realised she matured in this song.
In the song "How far I'll go" , at the beginning of the movie, she sing:
"See the line where the sky meets the sea, it calls me"
In this song, which played much later in the movie, she realised:
"I am everything I've learned and more
Still it calls me
And the call isn't out there at all, it's INSIDE me
It's like the tide; always falling and rising"
Yoda Grandma was the best character, easily. She really did pick the right tattoo!
as soon as i saw her ghost form i called her obi-wan
barbaro267 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😀
barbaro267 her name is tala not yoda😂
barbaro267 haha.. good comment
It was preference from star wars
The 'I am Moana!' Part crashed on me like a Tsunami.
Me too.
Thorite Gem same
Made me cringe....
me too i was amazed
Thorite Gem
Can we take a moment to appreciate the incredible background score in this song? It really makes it sound so epic
The sound of her ancestors singing with her will never fail to give me chills
I've heard this song so many times but this one hit different... It clicked something inside me that LITERALLY MADE ME CRY! Like if I was discovering something myself and it was me who sang it. This is precious and that's why all kind of arts are important to humanity
Alright lets settle this... who thinks moana is better then frozen if you do I love you
steve smith uhm definitely wayyyy better frozen is over rated
steve smith My big problem with Frozen is that it forgot it was a musical halfway through. I was worried that the same thing was going to happen in Moana, but I was so relieved that didn't happen.
Yeah..Moana is so much better
Frozen didn't make any sense...Hans at the beginning didn't show any evil in him and out of the blue he wanted to kill Elsa and Anna when he had chances before. But Moans flows and makes sense and is all in all a way better movie. And I didn't expect the ending in Moana
Okay, fine, i'm gonna be the only one here: FROOZEEEEEEEN! Frozen all
the way!!!!
Now i can go back and listen to "How far i'll go (reprise)" again and again, and you guys just stay here and waste your time comparing those movies instead of enjoying both.
2:00 THE TIDE ALWAYS FOOKIN RISING
Lol
This is hands down the most powerful Disney song I’ve ever heard.
Please! Stop comparing Frozen and Moana. Every Disney movie are unique in their own ways.
Tj Samson Thank you!
yh but frozen fucking sucks
Jerome Johnson I don't see Frozen sucks. I really love it! But based on your statement, it's like you still compared Frozen to other Disney movies. Great-Suck.
What are you talking about? I am talking to MrMoist23 69.
Tj Samson OOOOOHHHHHH ROASTED
Lyrics from "Moana"
Music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Mark Mancina
Performed by Auli'i Cravalho (Moana) & Rachel House (Gramma Tala)

The things you have learned will guide you
And nothing on Earth can silence
The quiet voice still inside you
And when that voice starts to whisper
Moana, you've come so far
Moana, listen
Do you know who you are?
(Moana): Who am I?
I am the girl who loves my island
I'm the girl who loves the sea
It calls me
I am the daughter of the village chief
We are descended from voyagers
Who found their way across the world

Sophia Li lllllll
Sophia Li
Sophia Li thank you
Sophia Li thanks
can you do it for your welcome
This movie and music really played my heart like a perfect Violin, they need to do more CGI and hand drawn movies, their talent really shines through when they do.
Me listening: this is such a beautiful song. Hold it together 😬
Moana: “I will carry you here in my heart you remind me”
Me:😭😭😭😭😭. That line always gets me!
The part when she sings: "I am Moanaaa!" gives me chills

Life goal: Become as inspiring, loving and open hearted as Moana's grandma!
This is my absolute favorite song in the movie, which is saying a lot, because it's all so incredible. But this song has so much power. It's so beautiful!
Fun Fact! The grandmother is voiced by an awesome New Zealander, her voice is super different to how it is in the movie! Her name is Rachel House, she's super amazing.
Yess her voice is so warming and smooth. I'm in love with it.

( my parents told me and I was like wHAT )
I won't lie, the parts with her grandmother made me cry... maybe because I lost my grandmother a couple years ago... Her connection with her grandmother is so... I can't even put it into words; This movie is so powerful, much more than I originally thought it would be.
Tony Stark I know how you feel because I teared up and it reminded me of my grandmother.
Same. This movie reminded me just how much I miss my grandma and I've cried every time I watch it. That's part of why I love it, though; it's a reminder that even though she's gone, she'll always be with you.
Kayla De Medeiros Exactly. :) She'll always be with you. ❤ *internet hug*
Alicia Scott :) ♡♡♡
Tony Stark i'm starting to cry after read your words TT same as me. I miss my grandma so much
It’s like the tide; always falling and rising. Best line ever
Always fokking rising
I agree, I love this line. It speaks to me because sometimes I am uncertain about my passions, be it the job I will do some day or my creative work. But then there are the moments where I am determined and certain I will find my way. It's always in motion like the tide
