You manage to find houses and scents I have never explored! Thanks for reviewing this. I can't imagine black currant and oud together. I'm looking forward to your summation...and would love to hear your wife's reaction to this month of one note. Neat series.

I found this one very Vetiver heavy myself, I liked it. The Cypriol in it is modulated a lot by the intensity of the other ingredients so it doesn't smell like a typical Oud but it is there. Just testimony to the fact that Cypriol is actually pretty versatile and can be used to create a range of different effects.
Interesting! I didn't detect vetiver at all but I was definitely focusing on the oud.
The weather there looks so nice. Were currently in the low 20s here in Chicago:/ I really enjoy Enchanted Forest. Great video!

Excellent! I was so glad to find this review because I have a sample on the way. The nice folks at MiN NY contacted me to let me know my Mancera Boise order was on backorder. I'm fine waiting for Cedrat Boise (love the scent) so they are sending a small vile of Cedrat Boise to tie me over. I asked about Sand Oud (since I'm new to oud) so they're also sending Sand Aoud and a few others for me to sample. Nice folks and top-notch customer service.
Anyway, I love Creed Royal Oud and really like YSL M7 Oud Absolu. I know the oud enthusiasts may not care for Royal Oud, or Sand Aoud for that matter, but these kinds of oud fragrances are perfect with with my nose. Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting my mitts on this fragrances in the near future. Thanks for the heads-up on this fragrances.

:) Dawww thanks Jer. I was hoping you'd have a positive take on it. Its an amazing fragrance ain't it? I love it. I never realized the black current til you mentioned it. I agree there ain't much oud in it. Its mainly hot and spicy to me, like you said.
Nice that you tried and like it. Now go try Halston Man Amber and 24 Gold. Yes, they have Oud!

I have a decant of this and it indeed is a great fragrance... For some odd reason there are people that seem to get a comparison to L'Air du Desert Marocain and I have NEVER understood that... What say you Fragrance Bro??? What say you??? ^_^ (I'll be back tomorrow...)

I love the Mancera line pretty much, but I don't like this one. There's a strange note in there that I don't like.
