Whassup party people! This video is part of our reactions to Pentatonix’s Evergreen Experience. We'll be uploading a new video every day for the next few days (4 more to go!), so stay tuned! For the full playlist, click on this link: ruclips.net/p/PLm-c64SroSGGlCSDq7fnwoLhV9BaTaqpX
I loved this entire performance, I watched it via their virtual platform back in December. And now, I can't rewatch it and not think about the fact that Kirstie was pregnant throughout. I'm in awe!
Just like in I Saw Three Ships, you attribute the high note at the end to Mitch - but once again it's Scott! Don't underestimate Mr. Hoyings high notes.
He didn’t play the drums because he is the bass. He played the drums because he is a trained drummer and he studied it at university. So he is a drummer.
That was Scott again hitting that last high note:-) if you go back and watch, it impressive! This one is epic-I wish I could’ve seen it live but seeing it recorded live w/good audio is the next best thing:-)
I think that high note at the end is Scott, not Mitch! Mitch puts his mic down and Scott still has his up to his mouth! Watch again! Love Kevin playing cello! Thank you so much for reacting to these songs!
You were wondering if they had something in mind for how to perform this song live….if you are familiar with Little Glee Monster, they collaborated with PTX on Dear My Friend. When LGM does Dear My Friend during their concerts, PTX is on screen behind them…check it out.
I was in front of Kevin when it started and I was shocked by just the lighting. Also I think Scott plays the piano at the shifts in the melody. Like when they go oh-Ah-oh, he could play with those
I was looking forward to your reactions to the "Over The River" video. I loved your reactions and the video. Kevin and Matt were having a blast with that opening. All around, it was a beautiful performance.
I was able to attend the last concert of the Evergreen tour and they did not put Lindsey on the side screens. So this was cool to see. Epic it was tho! They did sing with a lot of backing tracks of their vocals/ percussion.
I think you are wrong about the recorded part by Lindsey. Kevin had a much smaller instrument then normal, and it looked like he was doing Lindsey's part. I have been bagging on Matt for only being a base singer with pentatonix, and not having his own you tube or career, (Such an underachiever!) so was glad to see he can play a drum! Great reaction, 😁😁😎
The violin is definitely a recording of Linsey (They had her on a big screen during the performance). Kevin was playing the electric Cello. At the Hershey, PA concert, Matt actually lost one of the drum mallets during the intermission part but managed to keep playing and retrieve it without being too obvious. :-)
@@ZhenYaoYin Yeah, and he also big in a music ministry with his church. Could very well be an electronic cello. IDK, maybe they will do a "performing Over the River" behind the scene sometime. I would call them, but I am sure that would not go well. 🤔😎
There’s a channel that reuploaded some of the videos from the Evergreen Experience, just search RUclips for “Over The River Live” and you might find it 😃

THANK YOU
Oops! I’m going to get so many comments about this now! LOL 🤣

Thanks! I’m actually surprised that I didn’t know this before… oops 😅
Love your couples reactions. Check the video “Introducing MATT Sallee” and they will mention his drumming expertise and tell you his origin story.

You’re right! We should’ve been watching the video a bit more closely during that part, we just immediately assumed it was Mitch as usual! 😅

It's definitely Scott
You’re right! We should’ve been watching the video a bit more closely during that part, we just immediately assumed it was Mitch as usual. Our bad! 😅
@@ZhenYaoYin No worries! I thought it was Mitch at first, too!

This arrangement and performance is a total work of art! Grammy Please! 💕
It’s definitely deserving! 😍

It’s definitely shocking if it catches you by surprise! 😆
You were there too?! I was also there in Louisville, sitting in the front row at the end of the catwalk. It was an amazing experience, isn_t it?!
That high note belonged to Scott.

Thanks so much for tuning in everyday! 😍

Oh, interesting! But there was still violin audio being played on the speakers I suppose?
That was so much fun!!!
Totally! 🙌
Amazing! 💖💖💖💖💖
Thanks for watching! 🤩

Richard Wilson, Matt has a lot going on with his church. You should check out his church's album and videos.
I’m pretty sure that’s still Lindsey’s recording being played though! As for Matt, I’m sure he’s been busy with the wedding 🤣

It's funny, I saw this whole concert and could totally hear the piano then, but I'm not hearing it in what you're reacting to.
I think I’ll need to look up fan-recorded videos online 🤔
It would have been cool if Lindsey could have performed one of the shows.
It definitely would’ve been amazing!! 😍
Matt is a drummer. Everyone in that group seems overly practised and gifted
So I (just) heard! I’m surprised I didn’t know this before 😅
Where did you get this video?? I can't find it. thanks...
