I hyphenate and still kept my monogram initials, keeping my middle name and just adding the husban'ds name to the back end of my surname. So technically, I kept my initials. We just have different surname initials in the bathroom :)
When the husbands last name is in their- isn’t that a couple monogram?! For a married ladies monogram the last letter can be either maiden or middle name. That’s how I was taught!
I find it disrespectful to the man to put his first name initial last. Wether it's on a towel or anything else. The man is traditionally put first as he is the leader of the family: His and Hers, Mr. And Mrs.
