She didn't ask for more money. She was offered lesser screen time and lesser pay which was not in the case of RSL. Unfair really coz nobody else in House promoted the show as much as she did and she was an integral part of the show. Negotiations are tricky anyway, money is not only the matters involved. There was also a rumor about her being involved in women's rights commercial that the network didn't approve of.. etc..
