We should've hired him instead of Smith. Then again Raheem gained experience under McVay and Smith helped build our team (even though he had absolutely horrible offensive play calls and game management last year).

I heard Coach Morris talk about Terry and listened to an interview Terry did ...he talked about how he uses inclusive procedures and get input from coaches, players, scouts, fans, etc...there were so many steps in how he strategize for a continuous search for players. One of the profound things that he said, [paraphrased] "we don't stop with the draft. We continue to look for players who will be the best fit 365, 7 days a week...even after the season starts." We all know that to be true with the changes and additions the Falcons made throughout the last season. I'm excited. I like that many people (media and doubters) do not know what the Falcons' moves are....predictability and the 7-wins curse ends this year! Thanks for the great insight!
Thanks for stopping by! I can see how the process is inclusive of players, coaches, etc. When we step back and look at the moves over a 4-year period, it's like wow! We have first-round picks at RB, WR, TE and now QB, plus a diamond in the rough in Allgier, plus a veteran in Kirk Cousins! Agreed, the 7-win curse ends this season. Rise Up!

... if not better! Ok, my super optimism is leaking out, but seriously, I'm eager to see us compete now that we have much better QB play.
My jury is out on the Defense. We had trouble containing running Qb's last year hence we gave up several late 4th qtr game winning drives. I saw it in preseason last yr and mentioned it on several FB msg boards. Fans wanted to blame it on Ridder&Smith but they didn't play defense. Your defense has got to be able to clamp down when the game's on the line. Good team's have done it for years and it is the main thing I will be watching when the season starts.
Good point. I'm hopeful that the rookies, along with impact defensive players that are still on the roster will serve us well under the direction of Coach Raheem Morris.
Great point. The defense has to get off the field on third downs. Plus be able to close out games in the fourth quarter. I think Omeyata getting injured late last year and Grady Jarrett's absence hurt the defense tremendously.

when the offense was on another level in 2016 we had 12 different guys catch balls from #2. Spread it around I think Cuz is going to pick apart defenses as he gets comfortable with the guys.
We have about that many now, still have multiple TEs, still have other WRs not named in this video, still have other RBs, etc.

What’s good with you Steve and this was great stuff about our offensive players and I think they’re ready to change the narrative about our team and they’re ready to go win some games this season and possibly win the division and make the playoffs were anything can happen in the playoffs.

Chris Lindstrom top 2 RG in the league and he’s not #2, Kaleb McGary a decently good RT, Drew Dalman the most underrated C in the league, Bergeron a young stud at LG, Jake Matthews an absolutely legend at LT undoubtedly a top 10 LT in the league.

Maybe you didn’t see Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Mohamed Senu, Taylor Gabriel, the running backs, offensive line, etc. Don’t say this is the most talented offense in Falcons history until they prove it. DQ and Kyle Shanahan proved it. I’m a realistic Life long Falcons fan. Let’s not forget get the Barkowski, William Andrew’s error also. Had not Too Tall Jones ran down the neutral zone to stay off sides, by todays rules, the Falcons would have been in the Super Bowl bc that would have been a neutral zone infraction, game over. Atlanta defeats Dallas, Super Bowl next stop. We were the most balanced football team in the NFL that year and predicted to have won paper at least.
I was devastated by the 1980 loss to Dallas, and the 2016 Falcons were absolutely talented. However, I think we have something super special brewing with all of these #1 draft picks. Thanks for watching.

We have an outstanding veteran roster. We will need it to overcome our weak ass coaching staff. I was hoping for maybe Bienemy or Slowik or maybe Matt Nagy . I just don't think Morris is the guy for the job. We already fired him once. 21-38 as a head coach just don't speak well for him. I know, I know , give him another chance, but I am tired of losing and watching upper management screw up year after year.. I could be wrong but I doubt it.

I like how hes built the offense but in alot of ways we are going back to how the team was built in the Dimitroff / Quinn / Smith era… where in many of those prime years we had consistently one of the best offenses in the league but just an okay defense. Hopefully things are different this time im just tired of seeing this team lose.

I hear you, but we have the best of both worlds. I'm confident in Drake, Pitts, Robinson, Mooney, and Moore. We also have a UFA and draft pick who look promising.

@@davidwillis8623 Ya, well Kirk was signed for four years, guy has more 4 thousand yard and 25 td years than anyone since 2015. When I have a good QB already, I dont need two. I either need to help one of the worst defenses in the league by trading down and getting multiple defensive starters or I need to give Kirk more weapons on offense that can break big play. I like Pennix, would have been a great pick if they hadnt signed Kirk, but now you have two really good cars but you can only drive one to work, the other you have to stick in the garage for some years, instead of buying something you actually needed this year.
