Man before when I was silver 3 I was able somehow to queue with someone that is iron 3, so when we entered the game it was only me and one enemy member that were silver 3 while others where bronze 1 and irons, and I swear I almost had a heart attack on the way everyone was playing😂
Idea - A 5v5 and both teams would be of same ranks like both would be of plat or gold but the 1st Team would be playing agents that they have least played or never played before and the 2nd Team would be playing their mains the point of this is to see how much difference the agents make as their gungame would be same
Iron 3 to Bronze 2 literally the same, but Iron 3 to Silver 2/3 big, like massive skill gap and difference. A good Silver 3 player (not boosted) can wreck havoc in Bronze lobby. Irons and Bronzes are clueless with the mechanics, aim at feet level. But Silver 2s and above have decent aim & crosshair placement, they know the basics of the game like strafe shooting instead of spraying and praying like Bronzes, jiggle peeking, clearing basic corners and can manage their utilities well. Tbh Iron to Silver is a huge difference. Been there I can tell ya!
It’s true a lot of silvers are on alt accounts. I started valorant 4 months ago and went from iron 2 to plat 1. Getting out of silver was hard and gold was even harder.. but those smurfs forced me to get better. Aimlabs, constant RUclips video reviews, watching pro play. I get messages from old silver friends who say wow seeing you progress is cool to see because they haven’t progressed. You have to evolve your game. I’m review of this game I will say these silvers look better than some golds aim wise was pretty good, big mistake I saw from them is they constantly wide swing double peak spots and in high gold to plat you will be punished for that. Isolating angles for 1v1s is critical and also they will have better aim - game sense, coms, ability’s.

There is a huge gap, if you are an immortal ranked player who has never been in elo hell. You cannot speak on the skill variation between ranks. From my experience, there is a massive gap between iron and silver. This just puts that on display.

I deranked from SILVER 3 to Silver 1. Got placed to IRON 3 in Act 3. Now I'm stuck in elo hell plus cuz of the hidden MMR I get so many smurfs. And all my teammates were completely new players because a dedicated server for our region was launched in Act 3 and EVERYONE from my country started playing cuz they finally got better ping. In unrated I get matched with Silver 3s to Plat 1s. I finally got to Bronze 2 by end of Act 3. Got placed in Bronze 1 in placement Episode 2. T_T
As someone who has climbed from iron 1 to gold, I have to say that silvers are just so much better than irons. This will probably be a 13-3 win for the silvers.
Hell naw irons bronze and silver all kind off just mesh together and you can just get screwed over. Irons and bronzes would be fragging way above silvers in my matches. maybe this skill gap was true a year ago but now it definitely isnt now
Not the iron players getting a ego. You can feel the difference in their mindset through your screen. The silvers are actually trying to improve to get to a higher rank, when the iron players blame everything on their teammates/fps/ping/equipment.
I started in Iron 1 my first ever Valorant placement november last year, I am now Silver, I did not deserve silver when I was in iron and I do not deserve gold now. But I can tell you one thing, I would have no problem trying a 1v3 against Irons and Im confident Id put up a good fight. Hell Id even 1v3 against myselves from the past (my Iron self from the past not my bronze self).

Ranks were a lot higher in the first act so that’s about the same percentage wise. That’s actually not too bad considering your break
