    Been wanting to get to that show in Wisconsin. Club has been around for many years. They do two shows a year and may make it out that way next year. That show special is quite a bargain for the quality, which is pretty good.

    Thanks for the reasonable take on grading and ANACS in particular. I collect modern Lincoln Cents. All Reds, all bought individually with the exception of a few "risk rolls", copper reacts to any minerals even in paper. Mine are either in non PVC tubes or airtite knockoffs. I like the knockoffs better because the ones I buy clamp tight but do not have a o-ring like airtite to which the copper may react.

    I think ANACS is great for authenticating and grading lower value coins. Higher end, high value coins I would still go with PCGS. People respect and pay up for them. You did well and you can't beat the price and submitting at the show saved you on shipping. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

    I like how you brought to my attention pcgs being super corporate. I have to now meditate on this.

    Know aquaintance in Green Bay. Your proof is a 2014 `P', not a D as you said. The D is the SP. Like that EU. That's a nice one. Send in your 36 Long Island for a grade review. It's a free service you just pay for return shipping. Hard to see any wire brush, but even if it is hairlined or cleaned, that's better than the label saying wire brushed. Norse is a pretty nice one, too. They'll re-center it for free. Simple quality control and turn around should be less than a week. Good video dude. You in the Nicolet Club, eh!

    I've never submitted coins, guess I'm waiting but I would do an ANACS submission before the other two

    I only go thru anacs my coins are for me. I get great results and question. But same with the others. I'm staying with anacs for cost and satisfaction. Good luck to you

    Nice looking lot of coins. I still prefer RAW coins for the most part

    Thanks for sharing. I just submitted 10 Morgan and peace dollar coins to anacs. First time ever. Looking forward to getting them in the mail. Question: did anacs email you the grade results first? Thanks again

    • @LenHere

      Yes, they did email the grades with a tracking number. Thanks for watching and good luck!!

      Thx for the reply. I won’t look at the results on the email. I will wait until I can physically see them. It makes it more suspenseful. 😆

    I'm new to coins and have never sent in coins for grading. If you had a collection of Morgan Dollars would you send them in to ANACS, or would you send them to another company for grading?

    • @LenHere
      @LenHere  11 месяцев назад

      It depends completely on the coin. Unless you have a key date coin or a coin with exceptional quality, Morgans generally aren't worth grading. Before deciding to grade coins or not, learn how to grade coins. I have at least one video on my channel teaching how to grade Morgans. Check that out, then study your coins, learn key dates and make sure that you're grading worthwhile coins.
