Thats the thing sonic loves the dogs so much he can't be stopped. Even after having what amounts to a 30 sec head start sonic still caught up. So either shadows stand effect weakens with every use or sonic and his ravenous love of chili dogs broke though shadows abilities
In the end the battle was decided the moment shadow accepted the rules

That’s true he would’ve. Unfortunately for him, like all cliche villains, he was too cocky and arrogant about the power of his ability to stop time at will that he underestimated his opponent and in the end, he lost.

Sonic’s full of himself, too, but in the other direction. He honestly doesn’t care, and would rather do things his own way, and let others do it their way. His stand has almost no Combat potential, but it doesn’t need to have any, because he’s so sure of his abilities that he’s fine regardless

Well, Shadow is an unfortunate case. He wasn't originally conceived to be edgy, it's a matter of the bad development he suffered in the last years. The true Shadow is like Batman, a dark hero with a good heart, smart, and well-trained.

@Nigel Stoney you seem to have understood only part of the whole argument. Another comment said it before me, Sonic is a lighthearted type of edgy. He's not a pure good-natured hero, Sonic likes to toy with his opponents or taunt them. Then in the Adventure/2000's era Sonic was able to have a serious attitude in difficult situations. After that, Sonic was turned into a clown and lost seriousness. But even as someone less serious, his attitude still doesn't fit that of a prudish hero. And above all, Sonic loves his freedom and getting his own way

@@tailsbread well as a true JoJo Fan..... you're right it does drag along sometimes and it just leaves you impatiently waiting to get to the good stuff especially in Part 3&1. Part 2 Sometimes but in Never does that in the rest of the parts.Part 4 Slows down a bit on some bits. Part 5 is like a constant Aderine rush of stuff happening even when it takes Small breaks,they go to fast. Not sure about Part 6-8 since I have not read all of the manga.

Jojo animations tend to be somewhat bland, but this is one of the most impressive animations both story-wise and style-wise, holy shit. It really kept me through the whole ordeal. It does the funny jojo but still goes on as its entirely own thing. The animations on this channel are a blessing.
