- Happy December, Dragoknights! It’s time for some Wintery PokéTunes to celebrate the greatest month in the year (fact) with some great music to get you in the holiday / Winter spirit. Today we start off with Snowbelle City, which I have already done this year so let’s get wierd. There were a helluva lot of mastering and technical problems with my first go at Snowbelle, and I think I worked most of them out, and I’m pleased with the result. I really messed with the overall composition of the song, and I think that, along with better samples and mastering made a difference. Snowbelle City is a wonderful place, contrary to what LugiaDialga would have you believe. I love the atmosphere more than anything. The music is great, and the greatest part about Snowbelle are the benches you can sit on. The benches are a holy place. Also the snow is great too, or whatever. I’m really excited to continue uploading throughout this month, and I hope you like my take on Snowbelle! I wonder if Wulfric is out at the ass crack of dawn shovelling…
[Stupid updates are stupid: Last week I said Dragon’s Den would be this week, but my calendar skills suck and that is being delayed because December has to happen. Dunno when I’ll get to uploading it, but it WILL happen. I’m so sorry for hyping that up only to do this. It’s 100% poor planning on my part, and should have been avoided. I’m a dumdum sometimes.]
P.s. Peter, if I ever catch you requesting Snowbelle City again, I will personally fly my ass down to Florida with a steel container full of packed snow, and I will dump it all on your Snowbelle obsessed head.

A: I was having some technical difficulties with my service provider since the Summer of 2013, and I am in the process of getting download links back. Please be patient.
Q: You used my art in one of your videos, can I have credit?
A: For anything pre Autumn 2014 send me and email at HappyZoroark [at] gmail.com with the video title in the subject line, or art, and I will add a link for you in said video. As of September 2014 there will always be a link so you should have no reason to worry about credit unless it’s a bum link, or you (the artist in particular) would like a different link to be used.
Q: What do you use to produce your music?
A: High quality samples and Logic Pro 9. For video editing I use iMovie 9, and for image editing I flip-flop between Pixelmator and Photoshop CS-something.
Q: Can I use your music in a video / monetized video?
A: Absolutely. You don’t even need to ask my permission, just add a link to my channel in the description of your video and it’s all good. No need to make it all complicated. Go right ahead.
Q: How can I help support your channel ie. donations?
A: I don’t accept donations at this time, but watching my videos (liking etc.) helps. If you have adblock on, if you turned it off to watch the videos of the people you watch on RUclips that would be super cool.
Comment Question: If Game Freak came out with a region that had as much (or more) mountainy, and snow based stuff as Sinnoh for the next generation, would you approve? I personally love the idea of a region set primarily in mountains, but lemmie know what you think!
If they could make a game with all the regions and much more multiplayer features, that'd be great.
I would defiantly approve. I love the winter season and with the nice updated graphics they could make the night scenery beautiful and magical :) with a pretty starry sky

Why is X and Y's music so good..?
Loved the song!! Though I thought the build up in the beginning was a little long, but that just might be just me thinking "come on bring on the amazing violins, the suspense is killing me!"

oh, I approve of a snowy mountainous region as long as the snow does not prevent me from running. I did not like getting stuck in swamps or moving slowly in snow in Sinnoh. I already enjoyed the cold vibe in East Kalos. The condensation of my breath, foot prints in the snow, warm inviting homes with fire places burning, and sparkle of snow flakes would make an amazing region.

I was not expecting the choir. Simply amazing. This has to be one of my favorite town themes, alongside Verdanturf and Opelucid City [Black Vers.]
To be honest, I liked the previous re-orchestration more. The overall sound was more clear and some instrument choices were better imo. The piano was a bit too quiet I think (if we don't care about the volume though, it was better than in previous). I think that there's a bit too much reeverb which makes the overall sound a bit muddy here. Snares could use just a bit of more punch, and be a tiny bit louder, maybe. The choir was quite a surprising choice but I think it had too much reeverb/too less attack because I think that it missed some crucial parts of the melody and sounded a bit lacking. Now don't get me wrong, this version is good too, but I think the previous one you made was a bit better.
What comes to your question, I'd love that, especially the idea of the snow, I love snow! Imagine a Pokémon game which would take a place in a region where's winter all over the year. Now that'd be some shit (though the choices of Pokémon wouldn't be that great, I guess, but who cares).
Mewmore I agree with you a hundred percent, and I can explain everything but the snare because that was a complete mess up on my part. So, the piano was quiet because of a rendering error. I tried to render that out five different times, and each time it was messed up. I couldn't figure out what to do about that, so I just let it be. The reverb probably sounds different because I layered it in this, and I tried to change the placement of the instruments in a virtual hall, and this was my first attempt, so ya know, I'll improve I'm sure. *gasp of air* Another song (fun fact while typing this I have made more typos than I think I have ever made in my entire life so I'm going mental and my hands are freezing) I am uploading soon has a wierd glitch in the rendering with the reverb at the beginning, and I think these are happening because my CPU is currently in a very long line at the Taco Bell in hell. Hopefully I can figure that out, but I just thought I'd let ya know where I'm at. Thanks for the comment, my friend. I always value your critique!
So when it comes to a wintery region the Pokemon would be great because game freak could do a steel type wolverine in reference to the Wolverine, so obviously the region itself would have to take place in Canada they could also do a fighting ice type wolf Pokemon imo.

This song sounds like something you play as you are on your way home from a long day by yourself coming from school or work it’s like a sad and happy tone and spooky, happy yours days some sad for it being done as well also I hope you return dragonite I love these songs and went back to listening to them

I really like your work, sorry I tend to lurk around like a creeper so commenting feels weird (gurgling noises). A-anyways you should do a re-orchestration of RSE's route 113, since that's my favorite song in the Pokemon series (PMD not included) and if you did it, I feel you'd do a magnificent job; like as in really good. Anyways, keep up the great work!

In this one the sudden tempo changes give it a jerking feeling and some of the chords slip out of time with the rest of the music. Some parts of this one are better than the first though, so keep on making awesome music!

I just have one little issue with the music - the synthetic violin strings sound like they're lagging just a tiny bit with the rest of the orchestra because of the attack setting on the instrument.
The rest of the piece's features are spot on and really capture the feeling. Great piece.

I genuinely don’t remember having deleted any at all, so this is just as confusing to me as it is to you. Could you be more specific? I can’t promise to actually look into it because I have vastly different priorities since I made content, but I can’t even begin to look into this if I have no clue what I’m looking for.
