Just made my first one! So easy and fast. I don't have a Cricut Maker so I printed of your pattern on card stock. I showed one of my daughters who I am teaching her how to sew every time she visits. Please keep doing sewing videos. She will be making these for Christmas presents. I also added a tab on the outside and attached a clip to it so you can add car keys or tassels, etc. Got that lesson on your coin purse. Keep the videos coming!
Thank you for another great video. Is your design space file no longer available? Always appreciated your generosity in sharing with us but understand if I’m late to the party 🎉 LOL
You are amazing! I finally got the nerve to take my Cricut Maker out of the box to try this project. The Maker worked better than expected! The pattern you provided made it so simple and enjoyable!!! Can't stop making these now ... lol
Hahaha love your baby shark song...these Look so fun...need to make a bunch for Christmas stocking stuffers. Thanks again Lorrie for a fun easy project!
So I dont have a Cricket machine yet but I like to see what you make so when I get mine I have some ideas of things I can make. Can't wait to get my own one day!
I can’t wait to try making a few of these! You always come up with great ideas that totally inspire me to try the projects! Thanks for another great tutorial!
Thank You, enjoyed the instructions. and You also gave a great quick way to make a channel for a drawstring bag. Our family has been using the Baby Shark videos on You Tube to entertain my 7 mo Grandson for a couple of months now. I find myself singing the song even when he is not around. Lol!
I teach a sewing class at a women's shelter in Detroit. Doing your snap pouch. Liked your method the most of all the ones I have viewed. Double folding the band a great idea. However, if you put the measuring tape in wrong it will not open! Learned the hard way. Tried fusible fleece for bulk and it was a bit much. Think I will serge the long edges prior to sewing....keeps them from raveling after they are sewn. Love your videos. Have used several for the ladies. Thanks so much. Cannot figure out how to add picture.
I love the intro mabe me laugh, like how you have fun. But on a serious note tgese snap bags are cool and you make all your projects look easy. I heard that the tape measure wears out over time, not sure how true, but still like these.
Oh my goodness they are so cute, tfs, do you have a video using the leather that comes with the cricut? I still have mine since last Christmas and don't know what to do with, thanks in advance
Because I lack the Cricut, I have no idea what function it serves so please explain if I can successfully just cutout fabrics & make it without use of the Cricut? I enjoy your videos for quick, fun projects & thanks for this one. I got started with Pioneer Woman placemats as many of your viewers have done.
The bags are darling. I haven't figured out why you need the Circut to make it. Am I missing something? Will any Circut work or does it have to be the Circut maker? And who would have guessed - a tape measure?
Lorrie - I just made 3 of these for my teen granddaughters ... plan to make a few for myself after the holidays. I have a couple of questions ... can you make these out of faux leather, and would you sew them like the fabric? And, when you are using your rotary cutter, do you use a regular cutting mat? The reason I am asking is that I have a brand new rotary cutter from Cricut and I tried to cut the cotton fabric on my cutting mat and it would not cut. I found later that if I cut it on a piece of plexi glass that it would cut ...
Hi Lorrie, it’s Beth again. I remember what you made that I could not remember the name of nor find it. It’s the zippered bag using two different fabrics on the outside. One for the top and one for the bottom of the bag. You created the pattern in design space. I brought it up in my design space, saved it and now I can’t find it to use. This is driving me crazy. What am I doing wrong. Hope you understand my question. Thanks again Lorrie.
Hi Lorrie. I’m really enjoying your videos especially the ones you designed in Design Space. I have a technical question. Regarding the Snap Bag, I brought your design into Design Space then saved it to my iPad. When I went back to Design Space to retrieve the file to use, I can’t find it. I checked off “On This Ipad”, “All Ownership” and it’s not there. I tried checking “My Images” and the file is not there either. What am I doing wrong. What was the name of the previous item you made in Design Space and shared with us? Can’t find that one either. Thanks Lorrie
Beth Purvis Beth, did you save as a project or just the uploaded image? To find an uploaded image on the iPad, start a project then click upload image in bottom left. Next click the bottom button- browse uploaded images.
I love the snap bags however the tape measure was a cheapie ($1.00) and doesn’t’ snap. Any suggestions as to what brand to get and where. Thanks for the info and the great video.
You are truly one of the best for instruction videos. You are so clear and concise with no distracting background music. Thank you so very much. :)

You always make such fun and creative projects and they are not overly complicated! Thank you so much!!
Wonderful demo of a snap pouch !!! Thanks madam.
Great project! Boxing the corners, putting fleece in & quilting it (if you don’t use a quilted placemat) would enhance these cute pouches. TFS
Lorrie - these are really cool. Thank you for sharing the file & video with us. You are so very crafty ! These are super cute!
Love Love Love this! The possibilities are endless. Thank you also for the pattern! Take care

Lorrie you’re amazing! Love this, will be making several for my granddaughters. Thanks
Fun! Fun! Fun! Another great tutorial! The squares that you folded to use as pull tabs are called Prairie Points, in the world of quilting. Debby 🐝

I kept wondering what the snap mechanism would be -- it was like a magic trick reveal!
LOVE IT!!!
Oh my goodness they are so cute, tfs, do you have a video using the leather that comes with the cricut? I still have mine since last Christmas and don't know what to do with, thanks in advance
Never cut fabric before, do I use the fabric knife or the rotary blade?
Beautiful thank you I want to try it I want to app but it won’t take me there at the cricut app please help

Can’t seem to bring the project up in Design Space or your blog
can i cut the fabric with cricut explorer 2 would it cut on custom.
Cute idea - I’ve seen these before - I like your directions. So fabric doesn’t need to be interfaced?
Love this idea! Do you think the cricut air can make this as well?
what sizes are you using please for each one
Hi where can you get the rulers to make these?
Hi Lorrie, it’s Beth again. I remember what you made that I could not remember the name of nor find it. It’s the zippered bag using two different fabrics on the outside. Hi Laurie. I don’t have a cutting machine. Could you give the measurements of each piece of fabric when cut? Or tell me where to find them? Thank you
You don’t use any batting between the fabrics?
I have not be able to find the link for the pattern. How do I go about getting to the pattern.
I have the original Cricut... I would like to upgrade, but with so many on the market, I don't know what to buy
What are the measurements for each piece?

Lorrie , so you only do cricut tutorials and not more sewing. Why are you also offering the sewing portion of the tutorial?
Well you are funny today. 😀
Your hair is different?! Or is it just me...🤔
Anyway you are the craft master!! Between these & your can koozies my stockings will be stuffed! 👍🏻

Any suggestions as to what brand to get and where. Thanks for the info and the great video.
Bettye Day Adams I mentioned in the video that the dollar store ones don’t work well. I used a $2.97 from Walmart

I’m sad that everything seems to be focusing on the maker. For those of us that don’t have the maker, sorry!
If you bond your fabric you can use your explorer and the pink mat. Or cut by hand?
Myca Pierce Has as stated in the video description this is totally doable to cut by hand or use the explore and cut with paper to make your pattern
Myca Pierce you could bind the fabric and cut
True, but why bother with the bonding and the cutting on the cricut when you could just cut by hand and save all the trouble with the cricut?
Lab Rat as stated in the video description- you can totally cut this by hand. Some people prefer to let the Maker cut it so it’s perfect
Use children’s “snap or slap bracelets” instead of measuring tapes…already has curved edges!
