Is the corn starch what keeps them from sticking??
Yep!
You can add other ingredients to keep them from not being sticky so they don't color the outside of the gummy also.
@@pamelamorris3148 Exactly right! Xanthan gum works too. My kids also like making sticky batches that we lightly oil the molds so they pop out even when softer and then we roll them in nerds and other candy.

Keep them from sticking easy to get out of the molds as well

The recipe say until powder is dissolved.

1/3 cup water, one 3oz pack flavored jello, and 2 packs of unflavored gelatin

Can I just use two lots of flavoured jello powder instead of one flavoured and one unflavoured?
no - there is too much sugar then
Could you add in alcohol and reduce the amount of water?
Yes, as long as you use the unflavored knox gelatin or any beef fat or Collagen.
