Hi, thank you for this. I just have one question, why did you use that specific equation and how do you know that you should use that equation? There are so many equations and it's hard to identify which equation to use sometimes. Is there a specific keyword that made you ue that equation? Oh and if you were to put vf^2 in words what is it? (i know its final velocity but does it have a different name with the 2 at the top). Thank u for the video again!! ^^
To choose an equation, I write down the numbers that the question gives me (we call them "givens"), then I look through my formula sheet until I find an equation that has those givens and what I am looking for.
LOVE your videos!! they're so helpful especially now that midterms are coming up.

CoderreScience thank you!! There’s no set of equation for it and there could be multiples right?
@@seosoojinhearteu02 Usually there is only one formula that will work but depending on your givens there could be multiple.
Thank you for this.
you are very welcome!
Out of all the kinematics equations, I absolutely hate this one. I just don't know what the trigger word is, for me to use this equation.
How did u get the 340m/s?
Sorry can you specify a question and a time in the video?
How come the 340m/s is the room temperature 3:33? Where did you get that?
@@ismemichelle7782 my brother in christ temperature can't be in m/s
How do you isolate vi?
vi2 = vf2 -2ad
@@CoderreScience how do you isolate a?
@@jackdemchak6182 a = vf2-vi2/2d
i still dont understand it looks like im about to flunk this quiz
Sorry, the biggest thing is identifying the variables and doing the algebra (Manipulation) correctly. Follow the rules of algebra and you can do it.
