...im new to this, ...and all that you've shown here makes perfect sense to me, ...COOL!!! ...and I've been wondering more and more as I have been learning about this here particular technique, ...is why you can't i put a pot in the place of the resistor, ...and then just wiggle that pot around, ...and get that nice sweet spot, ...and also, while I'm at it, ...go ahead and just leave it that way, ...and make The whole thing permanent to where I can change it on the fly at any time permanently, ...and if I don't want it for whatever reason I would be able to disengage it by having a push pull pot to disable it on the fly all together?? ...I don't know much about circuitry at all, ...but I'm learning!!! (...i'm kind of wondering about this, ...mainly because I don't have any parts to work with, ...only other spare guitars that I can Rob parts and pieces from, ...and I don't have any resistors anywhere, ...that I can think of, ...but I've got plenty of push pool pots, ...and capacitors to rob and swap around...) (...or, ...maybe you can think of some thing that's laying around in a normal household that I could break apart and steal parts from? ...I'm sure there's some thing laying around here somewhere, ...but I just can't think of anything at the moment...) ...CHEERS, ...my BROTHER!!!! ...OH, YEAAHH!!! ......THE REAL...... ......ORIGINAL...... !!!!!!HECHLER!!!!!! .........( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)......... ........YESSSSSS!!! -------------------------------- -------------------------------- --------------------------------
Yes, the Idea to engage/disengage the Treble Bleed circut with a Push/Pull Pot is very Smart! [to be honest I prefer Push/Push pots] Also Check the Links in description if You're in Lerning mood. I'd definetly reccomend you to check out a playlist of David Collins on his YT Channel. You can start with ''Guitar Elctronics 4 - Treble Bleed'' Video. Very intresting! Cheers.
...now that all sounds pretty kick ass!!! ...and, I checked out that other channel just now and that's where I can see you got your inspiration at least some of it anyway, ...and it also goes to something that I thought of doing anyways as a related thing to have an outside box not necessarily a pedal no it's not going to be a pedal it would be an outside box that your guitar goes out to and you can really dive deep into the components and modularity of everything, ...just think of it like it's a euro rack set up with patch cables and pots of all kinds and The ability to experiment and dip into many things, ...just like if you were to take the MOOG stuff that's the euroakkk units and have those as some sort of patch'n bake it all in with pots and everything else you could imagine, ...that's an extension to go on the exterior of your guitar, ...that means, we would just have your guitars pick ups output going straight to the output jack, ...and then that goes to a euro rack kinda set up for patching different things of all kinds of options to have the flexibility to learn and experiment all about it and do anything that you want to do at any time on the fly... ...now, ...I don't know if any of that makes any sense, ...but that's kind of my idea, ...and it goes way past using just simple alligator clips and a voltmeter, ...that's for sure... ...CHEERS, ...my BROTHER!!!! ...OH, YEAAHH!!! ......THE REAL...... ......ORIGINAL...... !!!!!!HECHLER!!!!!! .........( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)......... ........YESSSSSS!!! -------------------------------- -------------------------------- --------------------------------
