- Road-side wildfires & fires in the Urban Interface add a unique set of dangers to the wildland fire environment, including distracted, fatigued, impaired and impatient drivers. We’re geared up and prepared for most wildfire hazards, but fires that start along busy roads are different.
First responders working in this environment face serious risks to their safety. This video is designed to help wildland firefighters to be prepared and to serve as a jumping-off point for discussion, training, and practice.
