Thanks for the video. Do you know of any single rim options other than custom, as well as where to get them? Are those the standard springs as well? Thanks for any info.
Thank you for sharing this. Is this the fg83 or fg84? How is it compared with usual suv four wheelers? Please share specs if you got the time. Thank you.
Yes front springs are changed to give more lift, thus more clearance on bump stops. My build thread and travel tails are on Expedition Portal -- Japanese Heavy Trucks.

This model Mitsubishi Fuso had a mechanical engine making it the most reliable . In Canada, ours had 4 individual headlights and wasn’t called a canter. The Canter name has destroyed fuso 4x4 reputation and as of 2019 the fuso canter comes only with a Chevy V8, Allison trans and 2wd only. Terrible 3 liter engine only produces 300 ft/lbs of torque.
Yes the engine in mine is a full mechanical 4.2 litre engine, that is why I have it, A lot more reliable in remote places. Here in Australia we still get the 4WD with manual transmission and has a 4cylinder electronic controlled engine.

very capable vehicle. I would have taken different lines on a couple areas, but good driving and great vehicle
The Canter is a 2000 model FG637 and as you see fitted with Super Singles instead of duals on the rear.
Turbo or naturally aspirated?
@@MrRob520 4.2 litre naturally aspirated fitted with aftermarket turbo.
The real offroad
Tyres are Kuhmo KL71 in 315/75x16. Rims are custom rims made for the Canter out of Aluminium 16x8"

Canter... no, I have one of these... slow trot at best.
Only slow till I regeared the transfer case. It now has a higher gear ratio High Range and a lower gear ratio Low Range.
