    very capable vehicle. I would have taken different lines on a couple areas, but good driving and great vehicle

    The Canter is a 2000 model FG637 and as you see fitted with Super Singles instead of duals on the rear.

    Tyres are Kuhmo KL71 in 315/75x16. Rims are custom rims made for the Canter out of Aluminium 16x8"

    Hi, did you make any changes to suspension ? Leaf springs upgraded, etc?

      Yes front springs are changed to give more lift, thus more clearance on bump stops. My build thread and travel tails are on Expedition Portal -- Japanese Heavy Trucks.

      The engine is a 4D33 4.2Litre N/A fitted with after market Turbo.

      @@andrewsiyomunji8260 4D30 has a smaller engine capacity but in saying that it red lines at 3500rpm instead of 3200rpm. HP is a touch less but not by a lot. Is yours turboed or N/A.

      @@andrewsiyomunji8260 A turbo will make a huge difference in HP if you need more. What are you fitting it in.

      Only slow till I regeared the transfer case. It now has a higher gear ratio High Range and a lower gear ratio Low Range.

    This model Mitsubishi Fuso had a mechanical engine making it the most reliable . In Canada, ours had 4 individual headlights and wasn’t called a canter. The Canter name has destroyed fuso 4x4 reputation and as of 2019 the fuso canter comes only with a Chevy V8, Allison trans and 2wd only. Terrible 3 liter engine only produces 300 ft/lbs of torque.

      Yes the engine in mine is a full mechanical 4.2 litre engine, that is why I have it, A lot more reliable in remote places. Here in Australia we still get the 4WD with manual transmission and has a 4cylinder electronic controlled engine.
