Python is a popular programming language that is reliable, flexible, easy to learn, free to use on all operating systems, and supported by both a strong developer community and many free libraries. Python supports all manners of development, including web applications, web services, desktop apps, scripting, and scientific computing, and is used by many universities, scientists, casual developers, and professional developers alike.
Visual Studio's Python Environments window (shown below in a wide, expanded view) gives you a single place to manage all of your global Python environments, conda environments, and virtual environments. Visual Studio automatically detects installations of Python in standard locations, and allows you to configure custom installations. With each environment, you can easily manage packages, open an interactive window for that environment, and access environment folders.

Does anyone know how to make it so the output ONLY shows in the Output panel and does not open the python command window? It's super annoying if you need to keep trying to run something you need to close it out every time. I've searched google and I cannot find what I want.

Python Desktop Application in Visual Studio 2019. i need this using vb 2022 i cannot find a video.

What to do when my command prompt says "'.py' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." ?
I have python installed already yet something is still amiss. I am targeting to make wfp in desktop using VS and python. I did also have Ironpython
Make sure you install python on your system
I am guessing you might need to add the path to your Python installation folder to the 'Path' variable in your 'Environment Variables' in your Windows System Advanced Properties

- Open up the 'System Properties' window (Can most likely be found by pressing the 'windows button' and in the search bar then start typing "environment" --> "Edit the environment variables' (yes, I know it is confusing)
--> Click the "Environment Variables" button that can be found in the "Advanced" Tab
--> Select "Path" (either in the user variables or system variables, the difference there might be a bit too advanced to explain here) and then click Edit
--> Add the path to your Python installation root folder on a new line (mine is: "C:\DevEnv\Python\Python310\" )
ok, save, ok, save... until all windows are closed. For safety a reboot might help (to force windows to load those new variables)
it keeps saying my server doesnt support the python
