We have been having beautiful sunny days with puffy white clouds ❤️ the chickens will scratch the garden and eat from it but hopefully I will.learn to plant enough to keep then happy ..I have watched a few videos on tricks to keep them from destroying the whole garden. Have a great week Ruth x

The chicken food forest is going to be awesome and I have never heard of doing this before so I find this very interesting. Those piggy houses are brilliant and loved the hen on top of Peppers back and letting out that squawk when you tried to lift her up, ha ha. Molly and Timmy's antics are so funny, I just have to get a big grin all over my face and just enjoy their antics and laugh when they pounce on each other, what characters. Luke I am sure you are looking forward to finishing the pig houses and may I say what a work of art.
I watch Timmy pounce on Molly almost daily and will never get tired of it 🤣Yes, Luke will be happy when their house is ready, it has been quite a long project but we have learnt so much and had so much fun too

Chickens, first you need cover from birds of prey (swooping), fox will dig and so will dogs, large rocks and barbed wire at the bottom, and chicken wire and smaller rocks at the top in cement, consider a smaller secure chicken run inside the other one. take care you two..

Sarah, I have grown carob trees from seed (indoors in pots in the Netherlands) takes a while for the seed to sprout, sometimes a year, so I always planted them with established plants to not forget to water them.

What a drama chicken.... it was almost screaming murder, when you tried to pick it up from Peppa 😂😂😂 Molly and Timmy are so great together 🥰 and the pig pen is looking amazing Luke... you are an artist 👌 curious though if the chickens are not going to try to escape, to get back to their old chicken coop 🤔 but I guess after a while they will get use to their new paradise 😉

I don't know if it'll be happy in your climate but Siberian Pea-tree is a good shrub for chicken feed and it's a nitrogen fixer.

I have recently learned about the danger to people and animals associated with food high in oxalic acid. Spinich/chard and beet greens are all high in oxalic acid.
I am sure it is if you eat crazy amounts of it though like most things in life😁 but i will look into it thanks

check with your lawyers and engineers, new laws are passing to make it easier to buy , renovate and rent homes in Portugal. I believe the laws will take affect Feb 16. The red tape is decreasing, which is a good thing.

Really surprised by the cost of your trees as they are at least 3 to 4 times the price here in France. When our chickens have free range in the garden they basically eat and destroy all the plants, etc. and wondered how yours will survive, hopefully better.👍
