A true showman... I grew up watching him (He's 5 years older than me so we are same generation so to speak lol), and everyone in the house loved him. Figure skating was appointment TV for us if Scott was on the ice. We live in Boise and were lucky enough to see him every time he was at Sun Valley - One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

Society wouldn't label him a sex symbol but he is one of the most beloved figure skaters to ever skate. 'The audience loves it.' A lot of excitement in the room.
There is none to compare. There is only one Scott Hamilton. He is the best there is on ice.. Totally complete powerhouse on ice. There is nothing he cannot do.. He is our Olympian Champion! !!!
Watching this right after 2022 Olympics. Have always loved Scott. After seeing these past performances, it seems there's no artistic impression left in figure skating, among men or ladies. All anyone cares about is getting up enough speed to make those quads. It's a shame.
Dang this guy is so entertaining… makes being in bed with an injury so much better . The best and undisputed King of the Ice , I’ve seen him a few times on TV , and he’s got such a genuinely charming personality. He’s so polite in interviews. He just amazing 🤩

He always had so much pure charisma and joy, and it just accentuated his technique. Plus, just an incredibly nice and genuine human being.
