I got into Irish trad on mandolin and then on tenor banjo, all because of you!

A friend of mine found an old Harmony A-style mandolin beside a dumpster in Richmond VA about 3 years ago. I asked if I could have it to mess around with as I had never really played one (or any instrument very seriously for that matter). I didn't know where to begin so I went online and Google "free mandolin lessons" and found you. Two years later I have have purchased a Loar F-style mandolin based on your suggestion from one of your videos and learned soooo much more from you than I ever would have had you not been kind enough to spread your knowledge so generously. From scales, chords, songs, etc etc. Im 42 years old now and I really wish I had found this hobby when I was younger, but better late than never and because of you I know I'll play this instrument, and others, for the rest of my life. Thank you so much. Happy New Year from my family here in Wilmington, NC, to yours.

I like the way you teach and explain yourself. Over the years I've took advantage of some of your teaching. I have been playing guitar for way over50 years. My father has been gone for 28 years, and I've took up where he left off on making a few mandolins. Not to sell but I did so I could prove to myself I good build. So about 5 years ago I wanted to learn how to actually learn how to play a mandolin. I made about8 A-5 s and3 5 -5s I used a blueprint from a vintage 1923 lore. I have a brother in law Gene Johnson who tap tuned my mandolin and told me where he thought it was heavy. So I took his advice a d took some more off. When I got done I showed it to him. His smile told me I did good.. I very been playing in church for a few years now. I learned mostly by ear., and watched a few people on u- tube . Got some good tips from a few people. But I seen this post you put out and wanted to tell you thankyou for your teaching and hard work to help people. I got a long way to go to get where I want to be. I'm 71 and I see young people tear up a mandolin. I'm glade I didn't quit. I'm doing better as I go. Just wanted to let you know that I've learned a lot from you and others who teach mandolin lessons. But a special thankyou for your being a humble teacher. You matter much., thanks again........William Smith 😊

Congratulations on launching your new course! You've spoiled us all with 15 years of free lessons, but this sounds like an awesome way to learn how to play in a proper manor. I think many people loose interest when they try to advance too quickly and with RUclips it's often difficult to work on lessons in the proper order.
I think this course will be great for filling in those missing gaps. Hopefully all 100,000 of your subs will take advantage of this opportunity!

I want this so bad, and it’s a very fair price, just need to be in a better position financially (I’m working on it!). Discovered your videos during the lockdown and it helped me a huge amount. I’ve played guitar for 27 years but fell in love with the Mandolin because of your videos

Street Fighter 6 does not have frame perfect punishes or combos. There is a 5 frame buffer window for all inputs.

I have learned more here than anywhere. I need more help with my right hand and I feel like I am not getting enough info on this. Is there some slow go and show of the right hand in this?

I purchased an octave mandolin to accompany myself 9 years ago. I just recently purchased a mandola and am wondering if your comprehensive mandolin course would be beneficial for a sorta beginner mandola player.
