    📍Sir , I can't understand the uses of simple Gerund. # You have told that " Simple gerund can also be used when the action in Finite verb and Action in Simple gerund are happening at the same time " . I can't understand this particularly. Can you give some examples to clear my confusion ???

    Sir, may we write these two sentences as Simple Gerund ----
    1) On reaching the station, he stood in the queue for ticket.
    2) After kicking start the bike, he drove off.
    May we write these sentences using Absolute phrase ---
    3)He is stupid .We make fun of him while hanging out. >>> He being stupid, we make fun of him while hanging out.
    4)The letter is typed. He stamps on it. >>>
    The letter being typed, he stamps on it.
    < Perfect Participle >
    Sir are the following sentences correct ---
    Active ---
    5) Having arrested, the police produced the thief before the court next day.
    6) Having arrested, the police were requested to release the thief.
    7) Having arrested, the police wanted the thief to be jailed.
    Passive ---
    8)Having been arrested, the thief asked for a bidi from a police person .
    9)Having been arrested, the thief was taken to the hospital for medical check-up.
    10)Having been arrested, the thief requested the police to be released.
    < Gerund >
    Sir, are the following sentences correct ---
    Simple gerund -- same subject
    11) Active -- I like scolding someone.
    12) Passive -- I like being scolded by my teacher.
    13) Active -- Establishing a business is my primary goal.
    14) Being established in life is his ambition
    Simple gerund -- different subjects
    15)Active --- I like the teacher's scolding him / John in the class.
    16) Passive --- I like his / John's being scolded ( by the teacher) in the class.
    Perfect Gerund -- same subject
    17) Active -- He denied having beaten the boy in the market / He denied beating the boy in the market. ( as perfect gerund can be replaced by simple gerund )
    18) Passive -- He denied having been beaten / being beaten ( by the boy ) in the market.
    Perfect gerund -- different subjects
    19) Active -- I am thinking about his friends
    having insulted / insulting him at the party last night .
    20)Passive -- I am thinking about his having been insulted / being insulted ( by his friends) at the party last night.
