  • Update: I did take it out to the range and all the products performed perfectly. ***
    Some upgrades I added to my KSG from Hi-Tech Custom Concepts. The charging handle kit is a great addition for hand safety. All these products can be found here:

    I have my KSG with the same foregrip, the crusher barrel break, the bayonet spikes, sig Romeo 5, and a recoil pad that actually replaces the stock one. I love it. It’s my favorite by far.

    I have two KSGs, one for Home, the other in my truck. Home is without a muzzle break, the other has, both have the charging handle, and you can probably guess which has birdshot and sabots.

    • @morebuckets
      @morebuckets  3 года назад +5

      I've never tried sabot shells

    • @standarduser7105
      @standarduser7105 3 года назад +3

      @@morebuckets The accuracy with Rifled Sabots are incredibly helpful at touching your target at greater distances between 130-160+ yards or more, yet Rifled Slugs drop off around a 120 by experience. I tested this with an EOTECH, if I had a scope on it (But why the hell would you. Lol) I’d hit 200+

      I have just one KSG, and I use 1 1/2" sabots. I can load 17 of these shells (8 + 8 + 1 in chamber). Kel Tec does not guarantee cycling of shells less than 2 3/4", so I took mine to a range and cycled through all 17 rounds consecutively, with no issues at all.

      @jesse8031 he literally talks about how people using a regular foregrip or none at all have had their hand go in front of the muzzle while racking it and ending up shooting their hand, that’s reason enough to not shoot this until you have the right grip like he does

  • @mycbr954
    @mycbr954 7 месяцев назад +3

    My fore-grip snapped in half when I fired it . Thank god there was no damage to my hand . But sucks that the fore-grip broke. I might have to try yours . I also have that same muzzle break . I don’t notice the less recoil . Still kicks

    • @morebuckets
      @morebuckets  7 месяцев назад

      It seems to be a very sound foregrip. The billet rail mounts to the charging handle, the the forgrip mounts to the billet rail. I should do a video of how it mounts. Hmm

    If I plan on using a tactical shotgun for home defense (in hallway/small rooms) would it make sense to still have a muzzle brake on the end of it? Won't it cause the flash and exhaust gasses to go towards and around you as it bounces off the walls and ceiling right above you? Does that negate the use of a small tactical shotgun since it also adds length to the gun itself?

    seem like the recoil arrestor would interfere with buck shot, i am sure it does not, but the thought was there. how does it handle bird shot?

    • @morebuckets
      @morebuckets  2 года назад +4

      That was my first thought too (like rebounding into my face), but I shot bird shells through it with no problems. The spread is still very tight at the muzzle I reckon.

    Cool vids on your channel. I see this vid is 3 years old. I wanted to ask if you have had any reliability issues with this firearm and if you know what version you have? They are on generation 3 now, fixing reliability issues with these firearms, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to check which generation you are looking at

    • @morebuckets
      @morebuckets  4 месяца назад

    the foregrip is essential on these

    • @morebuckets
      @morebuckets  9 месяцев назад

      Not just the foregrip necessarily. The Picatinny is plastic and this mod bolts metal to it, so the foregrip is more secure. I've read a few things that said no matter what foregrip you attach it can pop off due to the plastic
