But the parents are incarcerated. They can’t look after them. Yes, I can understand the feeling of annoyance and upset at the child’s parents behaviour, but ignoring it would affect the child. Don’t u think it’s rather mean if u are a young grandparent with a child, or even an aunt or uncle, not to take them in is not very good

I have custody of my 3 yr old grandson from my stepdaughter......im not interested in giving him back to her. Im not willing for her to be back in his life..she hasn't seen him in months she also has 2 other children and is pregnant with a 4th... It my 2nd chance to be a better mother the 2nd time around............

Some people can be so judgmental, not all grandparents are capable of raising grandkids. Many don't have the desire, resources, tools or means too. I support those that do and those that don't. Every situation is different.
