@@SkydiveHake Any problem by referees in this cases. If you are Tori (attacker) in this situations you want to force Uke (defender) give up. Uke give up by tap on the ground or your body by hand, feet or by shouting: maita. You can see very well how Uke taps at 0:19, 0:45 and 1:25 then you have to finish Shimewaza (choke) and referee finishes the match and you get Ippon (point) and you are winner. Referees responds in this situations very well acording the rules. I don't find any problem in this compilation.
Really good compilation. This judoka very often uses the same strategy. She transitions to osaekomi by kata sankaku turnover. Sometimes she very good achieves suffocating effect in these osaekomi and she forces opponents to tap as here at cases 2 and 3 and you analyze it very well. First case is perfect okuri eri jime when she uses her experiences against to clearly weaker opponent.
to all the bjj guys who feel cool because they think these moves are " basic as fuck for bjj". these moves are unique for judo circumstances, not for bjj and apart from that, have you noticed her flexibility when she did arm-in guillotine. so as a bjj guy myself i apologize for all the cocky bois here. i think the video is impressive
@@mrd2392 BJJ has not just gotten added, you do know that BJJ moves all came from Judo, right? Maybe the strategies are but even that is a stretch since the newaza rules haven't changed much.
No, the all cases are shimewaza (chokes). She starts osaekomi but then she increases pressure by hadaka jime (shimewaza) technique and she forces opponent to tap because she achieves suffocating effect. Osaekomi still fuctions but ippons were for these shimewaza (therefor opponents taps) techniques. Listen of moderator who analyze it very well.
@@patrickfowler590 But it is judo and judoka have to abide rules of judo. She got from very good throw sode tsurikomi goshi but she has open her neck after it and it is her mistake. It is relatively simple for Tori (attacker) then. And Tori (white judoka) does it very well and she finishes matches by shimewaza technique.
Somewhat interesting but a version of that second choke exists as a pinning position which results from a “chin whip” in freestyle or folk style wrestling.
Canto choke is legal. I'm not sure if you are allowed to put the choking leg between your opponents legs during canto choke though. Peruvian neck tie is gone? I had no idea!
Duh... first of all, she isn't doing these in submission grappling bouts or like Abu Dabi or whatever, so when it says unique, I assumed they obviously mean by modern Judo standards and secondly, none of them were from the standard arm-in guillotine from the bottom with full guard or standing with pulling her chest/torso back.
0:19 If you need all that to "choke" someone, then you have poor technique and do not understand the mechanics of strangulation. The simple fact that people cannot tell the distinction between choke and strangulation shows that they simply do not understand how either works. This is not to say she is a bad fighter, it is only the technique I am talking about.
Referee just chilling
Right? I know nothing about this sport, and even i noticed he wasnt right in there to stop to chokes, etc.

good, now it will become brazilian jj technique
hahahahaha nice one

奇無知
first one was like a sideways peruvian necktie. i like it.
It is okuri eri jime. Very good execution of this technique.
That’s a bow and arrow choke. Peruvian neck tie doesn’t use Gi collar.
@@StrumVogel Exactly. Okuri eri jime.
@@StrumVogel it's not, it's a canto choke. The leg doesn't go over the head in a bow and arrow.

Very easy chokes to escape from
I thought the same thing. If judoka weren't conditioned to stop at turtle, and subsequently focused on defense, it would be so easy to escape.

Yes it is primarly osaekomi (pin) kata gatame. But sometimes you can to achieve chocking effect if it executes similar as she here.
The ref in these matches are frustratingly late to the stoppage. I hate when I see competitors tapping but refs are sleeping on the job.
