Because of personal reasons, I am struggling with the realization that I will have to leave my job I love because I can’t afford to live on my own here is CA or even renting a room in a house for $800 a month. I have been doing deep research and have watched numerous videos and channels about the possibility of living in my car, though you are not the only one, but you are one of the very top people who have gave me confidence in myself of this being a real possibility. Thank you so much for all your videos in your journey living in a car.
Well, in June I will be leaving my apartment. I have thought about moving into my car, but have seriously been researching about it recently. I don’t believe this could be a permanent solution, but I want to do it till I pay off my credit cards. If I can go longer, I’ll pay my student loan, and if I can stand it even longer than that, pay off my car. All together would be about 36months, but I’ll start small and work from there.
Hi, I am currently considering doing the same. Would you mind sharing how did it go for you? Did you end up doing it or are you still doing it? Thanks in advance.
I know this is old but wow.. im pursuing the same thing for the same purpose. Right on to you brother for chasing your dream and flying like the birds! Inspiring !
Most people who own a lot of stuff also have a lot of debts. They're miserable and can't stand to see people like you (and me, I'm a minimalist) happy. I'm married and we have a teenage son. We like to keep it simple. We live in a small condo, the cheapest home in our area. Most people's homes are their biggest asset, our home is only 20% of our total asset.
@@inspirationalnomad I enjoy your videos very much. Like you said I have been learning on you tube how to live the nomad life. I lived out of my car for 6 months back in the spring. I didn`t mind it at all, but what made it hard for me was I made the mistake of driving uber in the day and sleep in my car at night. The preparation to undo my car each morning, then make it up at night to sleep, because I had to maintain a clean car each and every day for the riders. In the meantime I`ve been working a live in caregiver job which gave me the opportunity to save for a mini van. I`m going to be shopping for my van shortly. I then will live out of it. I`m setting up interviews for a regular job, so that I don`t work out of my vehicle like the last time. I can`t wait to start my new journey. I`m going to be doing videos to inspire others that the nomad life is not so bad, but a lot of good. Again thank you or your videos and being the Christian man that you are.
Wow. What a great video. And a great message. I'm sorry but it took me this long to find this video. You really nailed it on the head. The upkeep and maintenance of a home, Condo or apartment can be and is extremely hard work. Thanks for explaining this in logical terms.
#283 Good morning Thank you for sharing part of your story. It inspires me to 'branch out' in my life ' to do things that make me happy and fulfilled. I am praying for you as you are praying for me. 🙏
how do you sleep at night in your car, with all the legalities involved? I think it's awesome if you are able to manage and make it in your car. I totally agree with you that we put so much money into homes and even apartments where many of the rooms we don't use. I see these massive homes and I think how do they possibly use all of the rooms. I prefer a very small home or apartment. I don't need a lot.
Maybe forever, not sure but I will live on a small scale going forward no matter what the situation because I have been freed by learning Less is More.

@@crissolomon3478 So how are you doing now? Have you ever started living in your car yet and made significant progress in paying down your loans?
